Wood knock near Coos Bay, Oregon (2019)
Account
During the first days at a remote elk camp, the group heard banging like wood knocks from a steep hillside with no roads or trails. On following days they heard dumps being ripped apart and knocks around them, sometimes followed by running through brush. The witness tried to explain the sounds as elk or deer but felt they were not normal woods sounds.
