Knocks and Orbs at Spectacle Lake in Madawaska Valley
Five campers staying at Spectacle Lake reported hearing tree knocks on two consecutive nights after 10 pm, first from across the lake where they believed no other people were present and then from very close to their cottage. The reporter knocked back after the first knocks and received no reply. On the second night several campers also saw fast blue and pink flashes described as orbs and felt a presence in the dense treeline without seeing anything, reporting that they did not feel scared.
Sasquatch sighting near Tobermory, Ontario (2022)
Late at night the witness walked back to a hotel near friends' cottage. He heard loud rustling and saw something leaning headfirst into a tall well-lit garbage can. It stood upright revealing great breadth, long arms and a conical head, stared briefly, then ran bipedally across the lot into a treeline.
Sasquatch howls recorded in Madawaska Valley, SE of Algonquin Provincial Park
The witness and seven companions were staying at a rented cottage on Spectacle Lake. On the night of July 27 they heard intermittent howls from across the lake for about half an hour, then heard a branch break near the tree line. After going to bed something struck the cottage hard, followed by mumbling sounds outside a window and a long scrape along the wall; a morning search found no tracks, damage, or thrown objects.
Sasquatch sighting in Ontario (2020)
The guest and his wife were driving back at night after picking up hay for their rabbits. They noticed eyeshine low to the ground ahead, which suddenly rose to about seven feet as they approached. A tall dark shape then hopped twice like a kangaroo and disappeared into the tree line. They turned around to look again but it was gone.
Scream near Sioux Lookout, Ontario (2019)
The writer says he was out with his wife and grandson about 45 kilometers from Sioux Lookout when they heard prolonged screams. The sounds reportedly lasted about five minutes, with about three minutes captured as audio on a video of the treeline. The host says he amplified the audio for listeners.
Sasquatch sighting near Dundas, Ontario (2018)
The witness spent a week building a fire pit in a valley behind houses. A very tall dark-haired figure came down the hill, waved and said hello in a flat tone, smiled very widely, then played peekaboo behind trees. It then threw large river rocks from 70-80 yards away, landing close to the witness, who fled home and later estimated its height at 8-9 feet and found a discarded jacket.

Two sisters were playing at night on their wooded family property when they heard gravel crunching footsteps and heavy grunting breathing. A huge hairy biped walked parallel to them, turned its head toward them after one yelped, and they fled inside. Family members first suggested a bear or person, but the sisters maintained it was far larger.
Possible wood knock responses heard near Westport
Three people went into woods near Westport at night to try tree-knocking to elicit a response. After each of their three knocks they heard distinct return knocks from across the lake, first from the west and then from the east. They also heard movement in the treeline, a low growl heard by a companion, and three distant howls they judged unlike dog or coyote. They left after about 30 minutes.
Unusual thud and possible whoop heard along with feeling of being watched in Algonquin Provincial Park
The witness was lying awake in a tent at a Rain Lake campsite with a companion already asleep when a powerful but silent ground thud was felt very close to the tent, followed by a brief skunk-like odor. Later that night the witness heard an unusually loud whoop-like sound first taken for a loon. In the morning an indistinct disturbance entering camp and a freshly snapped tree stump were found, and while hiking out the witness felt watched.
Bipedal sounding pacing and possible vocalizations heard by Boy Scout leader and Scouts at Quetico Provincial Park
The witness was camping with a large scout group in a remote wilderness park. Late at night while several people sat around the campfire, they heard heavy bipedal footsteps pacing in dense brush beyond light range and later heard deep breathing. After most went to tents, they heard distant wolves followed by a closer deep howl that silenced the wolves, repeated more faintly. No tracks were found the next day.
Paranormal encounter in Ontario (2009)
Two identical very tall pale men in black suits and hats came to the hotel asking for the manager. A bell employee and a tour guest spoke with them, noting no facial hair, wig-like hair, large blue eyes, no blinking and a sense they knew thoughts. Security video later showed the pair entering.
Possible vocalizations heard 10 miles SE of Arden
Late at night while winter camping, the witness stayed inside a cabin watching a movie while a companion stepped outside. Both heard a single distant wooo-like sound lasting several seconds that neither recognized as a familiar local animal. The companion thought it came from well to the south, leaving both puzzled about its source.
Daytime sighting behind a cabin near Westport
In the morning the witness looked from a second-floor cabin window and saw a large brown furry figure cross a sunlit clearing behind the cabin in three long strides. The figure briefly turned its dark gray flat face toward the witness before re-entering the forest and descending toward a creek, with only the head briefly reappearing.
UFO sighting in Ontario (2008)
A hotel manager and another employee repeatedly saw a craft flying at night around the hotel. They photographed and filmed it and posted material on social media.
Possible daytime sighting by boaters and day prior by morning walker between Perth and Westport
Two companions were slowly drifting down a river while fishing after a morning derby. They noticed canoeists coming upstream and a large dark upright figure on shore apparently watching the canoe. The figure rose from a crouch, turned away and walked fluidly over a bank into dense boggy brush where the witnesses felt no person could travel.
Possible tracks found crossing dirt road near Hilton Beach
The witness discovered three large human-like footprints in a road in the morning after overnight rain while mowing a cottage drive. The prints were described as large with three toes and deep impressions, spanning the road in three strides from one ditch to the other and continuing through grass and over a log. No creature was seen, and no photos were taken.
Daylight sighting by emergency services worker driving on Hwy 11 just outside Fort Frances
The witness was driving east on Highway 11 just outside Fort Frances in daylight when a tall dark moose-sized figure crossed the road on two legs from the south woods to the north woods. The figure moved casually and fluidly, covering the two lanes in a few steps. The witness sped up to try to see it go deeper into the bush but lost sight of it.
Roadside sighting by a father and son north of Brockville
The witness was riding as a front-seat passenger in a van approaching a curve when they saw a large furry figure running upright across a crossroad and behind a billboard into brush and woods. The sighting lasted about five seconds and showed only the rear view. An impression in snow and mud, broken cedars, and a path through brush were noticed afterward.
Afternoon sighting by couple on Highway 11 outside Latchford
The witness was driving southbound with a companion in the afternoon when both noticed a large dark hairy figure moving through fallen timber beside the road. They described full front-to-back arm swings, massive arms, clumpy blackish hair and no neck, visible from the waist up for about six seconds. The driver stopped and turned around but had no further sighting.
Forest Growth and Yield Tech has strange encounter while working in forest
Two forestry workers measuring trees heard log-ripping and heavy footstep sounds, then had a large rotten root chunk and a smaller stick thrown toward them from an unseen source. One worker walked toward the direction of the throws and saw a tall, broad, long-haired figure standing motionless with its back turned. The witness returned to the coworker without disclosing the sighting and they finished quickly and left.
