In mid-July the witness overnighted with the retired veterinarian after hanging game cameras. Around 1:45 a.m. he heard something walk around his tent three times and snap a twig. A strong rotten meat and feces odor then filled the area and made his eyes water. He did not see the source.

The larger one stepped toward him, bared teeth and growled, then followed him to the road and struck him between the shoulder blades, knocking him across the road. Two companions were sleeping in a truck camper at their turkey hunting camp when a violent bang struck the rear door in the early morning. They speculated an unseen Sasquatch slapped the camper to drive them off.

On a hot Memorial Weekend the witness and a friend camped in tents at an abandoned riverside campsite miles from the original area. They heard surrounding whoops, rock hits on tents, thumping from all sides, and a tree pushed over. Through the night something walked through camp, repeatedly charged the witness tent and grabbed the tent floor, showing large knuckled hands. They left at dawn.

The witness family drove at night to check wildfire damage and stopped to inspect smoldering spots. After hearing grunts and clicking mouth sounds, headlights revealed three hair-covered figures of different sizes standing near burnt trees. The largest figure gestured with its arm and vocalized loudly, then stepped toward the witness as the group retreated to the car and left. The encounter reportedly lasted about ten minutes.

Three friends were sitting in their parked truck at a pull-out at night after leaving an earlier site. They heard movement in the surrounding brush and something repeatedly struck the truck. Each time they got out they found the same small stick by or in the truck, and one witness saw it fly out of the bushes onto the hood. Frightened, they drove away.

The witness arrived before dawn to turkey hunt from a stick blind he had built the prior week. Before daylight he heard mumbling like people talking from in front and to the left. A tall hairy biped then stepped from brush, stood looking north, vocalized, left, returned, and was joined by a shorter female carrying an infant; both then walked west across the meadow and the witness left.

The witness was walking in woods behind a resort with a relative when she saw a hair-covered biped walking away through the trees toward a more forested area. She described it as auburn and shaggy with broad shoulders, long arms with hands near the knees, and an oval head with a peak. They heard childlike vocalizations, saw low eyeshine, then watched a dark six-foot figure with long arms peer from between trees. One of them left the truck and fired a rifle at it, heard nothing further, then heard heavy footsteps before leaving, returning next day to find no sign.

The witness was driving south at night on a wooded highway when his headlights lit an upright, two-legged, gray-haired figure on the right side of the road. The figure turned and walked into the forest and out of sight after about ten seconds. The witness estimated it was 7 to 8 feet tall and 25 to 30 feet in front of his vehicle.

Two people hiking in the morning heard a repeated loud alarm-like holler ending each time in a strange ape- and human-like vocalization. The witness imitated the sound a few times, and both listeners concluded it could not be human or a wolf/coyote due to lung capacity and lip-like articulation. Believing the source sounded closer and could be a large unknown animal, they ran back to the car without seeing anyone else on the trail.
Property owner outside Centralia describes multiple incidents
The witness lives with his wife on raw wooded property. He set out a peccary archery target that was found the next morning pulled up and pulled apart with apparent teeth marks. About two weeks before reporting, the couple heard a loud short call followed by a softer answering call ending in repeated grunts, which caused deer to flee.

After it left, they found very large foot impressions, a pile of picked mushrooms and a leaf with slugs. They heard crashing in the woods on two sides, fired a rifle magazine into the woods, and left without camping.
