Unseen visitor unnerves 3 friends with repeated stick throwing near North Bend

Three friends were sitting in their parked truck at a pull-out at night after leaving an earlier site. They heard movement in the surrounding brush and something repeatedly struck the truck. Each time they got out they found the same small stick by or in the truck, and one witness saw it fly out of the bushes onto the hood. Frightened, they drove away.

An investigator met two witnesses at the second location on May 15 and searched the surrounding woods finding no tracks or signs of human activity.
The investigator returned June 4, observed rocks naturally rolling down the steep canyon at the first location and again found no human activity at the second location.
