The witness and a friend heard strange high-pitched screams on successive evenings while hunting. The friend also reported hearing something throwing objects around a treestand, and sounds described as wood hitting trees, sticks being thrown, whoops and screams. The witness did not see anything and interpreted the sounds as a Bigfoot displaced onto the property by nearby clearcutting.

While hiding in a ditch during a paint ball game with a young child, the witness claims both heard strange groaning sounds from toward nearby apartments. The child became frightened and they went inside, then the witness brought family and other children into the yard where the group reportedly heard the groans again. The witness later compared the sound to Mississippi groans recordings.

The witness was riding as a passenger with a younger relative driving at dusk when a tall dark brown hair-covered upright creature came from a ditch and crossed the road in front of them in two leaps without touching the pavement. Around 3 a.m. in December the witness was driving home along Clyattville Road in Brooks County when she noticed a very tall bipedal figure standing by a bridge and apparently reaching toward tree branches. The witness, a Marine designated marksman, was ordered to kill an aggressive animal near Lake D on a Navy base on the Georgia-Florida border. After hearing a splash and seeing a branch thrown into the water one evening, he returned the next evening and watched a tall, long-haired biped cross a road about 40 yards away. He shot it twice, and it collapsed and died. Superiors and two men in a white car secured the body, told him to stay in place and later to forget the incident, and no written statement was ever taken.

In 2000 two campers with dogs at a primitive site felt something grab and shake their tent after they pushed back and shouted. They fled to town and called authorities, leaving gear and dogs. Wardens later found the tent destroyed, gear scattered, one dog cowering and soiled, and the other dog missing.

On Thanksgiving night in 1999 the witness was driving north on a highway just after sundown when headlights illuminated a large bipedal figure crossing the road. She braked to a stop within a few yards as the figure paused mid-stride, turned its head to look toward her vehicle, then walked on and leapt down an embankment toward a creek and woods. She described it as much taller than a person, lean and muscular, covered in dark hair with little facial hair and wearing no clothes.

Four people in a house heard very loud deep shrieks from beyond the backyard tree line at night. Two of them went onto the patio with a rifle and flashlight; when the light was pointed at the treeline the shrieks stopped and something was heard moving away through the woods while grunting deeply. The next day the witness followed a wide trail of fresh tree damage through the woods for about two hours.

Two brothers fishing in a wooded gorge heard a loud splash upstream and walked toward it. About 25 to 30 yards away they watched a large hair-covered human-like creature with long arms repeatedly striking the water for up to a few minutes. When the witness brought the companion to look the figure was gone, then a similar scream sounded from close behind and another call answered from ahead. The pair quickly covered the fire and drove out.

In May 1998 the witness hiked alone to Minnehaha Falls near Lake Rabun and remained until after dark. After noticing a bad smell and a squatting figure he mistook for another hiker, he approached and saw a very tall, dark-brown, hair-covered biped that stood, walked away with long strides, then stepped toward him before leaving. The witness drew his service pistol and shouted, after which the creature walked away, and he left the area without telling anyone at the time.

The witness was acting as gunner in a vehicle moving without lights during a night training exercise and watching through a thermal sight. A tall, unclothed figure emerged from dense roadside vegetation about fifty yards ahead, crossed the dirt road in three strides, and re-entered vegetation without appearing to notice the vehicle. The witness reported the figure after it disappeared, but the crew drove on without stopping to investigate.

While trying to sleep the witness heard movement in the treeline followed by a grunt and a loud unfamiliar scream estimated 50 to 100 yards away. In the morning the group found unfamiliar prints beside the fire pit and then left the area.
