Two companions were driving westbound near Cle Elum after an unsuccessful turkey hunt while scanning for deer and elk. They watched a very tall, lean, hair-covered figure emerge from the forest edge, approach the shoulder, look toward the passenger, and step onto the pavement behind their truck before disappearing. Both described extremely human-like movement and camouflaged brown, beige and grey hair.
Couple awakened by very loud howls near Maple Valley
The witness and a companion were sleeping at home with a bedroom window open when they were awakened around 1:30 a.m. by extremely loud howls coming from outside. They heard four howls that echoed through the area with pauses between them. They later concluded the sounds were similar to a previously reported Bigfoot vocalization and possibly made by such a creature.
Large hairy biped seen chasing deer behind a home at dusk near Bridgewater
In the early evening the witness went outside to call the dog in and saw six or seven deer running as if chased. Behind the deer in tall grass about 100 yards from the house, a large hairy animal was running on two legs and towering above the 4-foot grass while chasing the deer. The witness, familiar with local wildlife including bears, concluded it was not a bear.

The witness and a friend were collecting molted eagle feathers near a swamp around sunset. They heard two very loud splashes close by that sounded like large rocks being thrown into the water. They pushed through overgrown vegetation to investigate and found a fresh path flattened through tall weeds but saw nothing. As they were leaving they heard distant chattering like talking, although they believed no one else was in the woods.

The witness was driving home at night and turned onto a rural road when a large dark figure was seen standing in roadside brush. When high beams were switched on, the figure dropped low and ran away into the woods on the left side. Through the night they heard return knocks, unidentified howls and loud sigh-like sounds, and a rock landed near one of them when he stepped away from the fire. In the morning they found a line of large flat footprints that they measured and cast.

Around 4 a.m. the witness was driving to work when headlights revealed a tall dark figure by a stop sign. The figure left the road in two large bounds down an embankment into a creek bed area. The witness slowed for a closer view, heard no sound, and did not see its front side.
6:30am sighting by two hunters driving 100 yds south of Cooper's Landing
The witness was driving with a relative on a river road in early morning light when a large, black, soaking-wet creature jumped from the river side onto the road in front of them. The creature then leapt up the bluff on the opposite side and disappeared without sound. The witnesses stopped, looked for it briefly, then continued to their hunting area after a short discussion.

The witness was fishing alone from a boat when a storm approached and decided to head in. Near the lake edge the witness saw a large animal initially thought to be a bear drinking water. The animal then stood on two legs and walked into the woods with a long stride, after which the witness left the lake because of lightning.

Continuing toward the cliffs in daylight he watched a tall skinny black figure run about seventy yards past him. It moved extremely fast over stumps and rocks and stopped abruptly at a tree without being seen again.

The witness was driving north at night with her daughter and her daughter's friend when a gigantic white furry creature ran toward the passenger side of the car. The witness swerved left to avoid impact and saw its fuzzy face, huge black eyes, and long hair through the passenger window as it crossed the road and disappeared into a ditch. She immediately called her ex-husband to report seeing again a creature similar to one seen 20 years earlier, noting a nearby field tractor and tree-line wildfire she thought it was fleeing.

While driving to work in the morning, the witness saw a dark object on the road she first thought was an ATV. As she got closer it moved off the road into the ditch, then stood up from a bent-over position, lifted a leg over a log, and disappeared into the forest. Her husband later checked the crossing spot for tracks but dense pine needles and leaf litter prevented finding any sign.

The witness was inside the house at night after turning off the television when moonlight coming through the living room window was blocked. The witness looked up and saw a dark figure standing outside looking in for about three seconds before it moved away and moonlight returned. The witness first thought it was a human intruder and only the next morning, after considering the window height and slope, wondered about a very tall unknown figure.

[name withheld] witness and a companion were driving slowly toward a river fishing area in [name withheld] early afternoon when a dark, bulky, very hairy animal appeared in front of them. It first moved fast on all fours toward [name withheld] treeline, then turned, stood and walked briefly on two legs showing white and brown coloration, and disappeared into brush after looking back.
Early morning commuter swerves to miss tall hairy figure near Grain Valley
The witness was driving a back-road commute to work before dawn when a very tall, dark, hairy figure was encountered walking in the roadway beside the car. The witness slowed and moved over, then looked back to see the figure cross behind the car, clear a four-foot fence, and move quickly into a field. The figure was first mistaken for a large person in a heavy fur coat before the witness concluded it was hair-covered.
