The witness was driving out of a condo complex around 2:30 a.m. to drive home. The truck headlights illuminated a very tall figure walking north through a field beside the road. The witness watched its side profile as it moved quickly with long swinging arms and did not react to the lights. After turning onto the main road, the witness looked back and could no longer see it.

Three people arrived at a meadow campsite in dark early morning hours and heard a loud call-and-answer exchange of whoops from unseen sources to the southwest and southeast. The lower-pitched calls stayed in place while higher-pitched replies seemed to move closer, with a pause in the middle, totaling roughly half an hour. The group stayed a week without seeing anyone else, and the reporter later suggested the sounds might have been Bigfoot.

On the night after an initial nighttime vocalization, the witness looked out a bedroom window around 1 a.m. after dogs growled and saw a very tall, hairy human-like creature standing 15 to 20 feet away in moonlight, visible from the midsection up. The witness made a cat-fight sound and the creature turned and walked away quickly toward the mountainous area behind the property. No odor was noted and a later check found no tracks.

He unzipped his tent window as a neighboring camper emerged to quiet her dogs, after which the footsteps stopped.
Campers hear strange vocalizations for over an hour while camping outside Dorrington
The witness was camping with her family at a family cabin site near Dorrington. Around 2:30 a.m. she heard unfamiliar loud, smooth vocalizations and woke her husband, and the two listened together for an hour or more. The sounds included rising calls and rising-then-falling calls, sometimes seeming nearer and sometimes farther, estimated from a quarter to a mile away to the south. No animal was seen, and a scat pile noted behind the cabin was thought by her husband to be from a bear.
Man Has Face to Face Encounter Outside of Willits
The witness was driving north on Highway 101 north of Willits in daylight when a large hair-covered biped entered the roadway and ran across the lanes in front of the car. The witness braked and then stopped as the animal paused at the road edge about 25 feet away, turned its upper body and stared for about five seconds. The animal then bounded up a steep embankment on all fours and left.

A later visitor who retrieved a hidden cache at the campground reported encountering a large unidentified creature crashing through the woods that seemed to follow them as they left.

During 2008 visits to the creek area, the witness and a companion found snapped trees in a circle, bent culverts, and a fetus-like object in water that was later discarded. Climbing to a level vegetated spot, they found a deer carcass with snapped bones and large tracks around it, described as a lair.

The witness stayed alone in the last car of a line of four while a paranormal group walked up a hill at night. A gold-tan something stood by the rear window and twice patted or palmed the car door, causing the witness to sit in the dark. The witness was camping alone at night reading in a chair when a loud branch snap was heard nearby. Gas cans and other items behind a shed were knocked over as something large moved a short distance through trees and stopped across a creek. The witness's dogs cowered at the trailer door and the witness retreated inside with a feeling of being watched.

The witness and four family members walked a trail by a lake near dusk. After moving a large branch from the path, they found wet foot-shaped prints leading uphill and saw two dark human-like shapes lying still in the woods. They heard bipedal footsteps that stopped and started with them, then left and returned later to photograph and measure the prints and hear more steps and a breath-like sound.
Possible vocalizations heard outside Inyokern
The witness and a son were visiting relatives and were taken to a family gold mine and cabin area. After spending about an hour there and while preparing to leave, both heard a high-pitched scream likened to a woman hollering from a nearby ridge. They shouted back thinking someone was in trouble but received no reply. A relative who was present in a portable toilet did not hear the sound.

The witness, on patrol driving west on Highway 128 outside Cloverdale, first noticed movement and eye reflection in brush along a ravine. After backing up, the witness observed a tall, brown-furred bipedal figure walking away through overgrowth, pushing branches aside with its arm. The witness then stopped and listened for several minutes as slow crunching sounds receded toward a creek area.

The witness was camping with his father near Bear Lake when a loud howling sound woke him around sunrise. The sound came from nearby cliffs, lasted about two hours, and seemed to move along the ridgeline while echoing through the canyon. The witness did not see the source, and other nearby campers also heard the sounds and left the area early.

The witness was hiking slowly off-trail in the morning when he saw a tall dark figure peering around a large stump from about 100 feet away. The two stared at each other for about two seconds, then the figure vanished before the witness reached the stump. The witness then found a large footprint nearby and photographed it beside a radio.

On the afternoon of August 11, 2007, the witness was resting near the Pacific Crest Trail in the southern high Sierras when he noticed two upright, dark-furred figures about 200 yards away near a deep canyon. He watched for about 10 minutes as they moved around close together, apparently looking at the ground and unaware of him. After he made a coyote call, both figures quickly left his view down into the canyon.

The witness and family were camping on a hillside above a campground when they heard loud, prolonged human-like screams from the creek beds nearly every morning for eight days. The cries lasted about thirty seconds and repeated several times around 4:30 a.m., seeming to move toward and away from camp. On three mornings the witness tried to approach the source with a flashlight, but the sounds moved uphill toward the ridge without any brush noise heard.

About 10-15 minutes later they heard an extremely loud bang from a nearby hill that sounded like wood striking a large tree.
