Mother and daughter describe possible howls close to their home near Big Bear City

The witness and a relative were at home in the early morning when they heard a very loud yell or howl three times over about half an hour. Neighborhood dogs vocalized and coyotes and raccoons were seen fleeing, and neighbors also came outside to investigate. The witnesses did not see the source of the sound, which they believed was a Sasquatch.

An investigator spoke by phone with the witnesses and had them compare the sound to website recordings, with a witness saying the 1994 Ohio moaning howl was similar but much quieter.
