The witness was driving alone to work before dawn when headlights illuminated a tall upright figure descending an embankment and crossing the highway. The figure paused briefly in front of a warning sign, looked toward the vehicle, then went over the opposite embankment out of view. The witness slowed briefly then left in fear and later returned in daylight to find large indentations descending the embankment.

The witness and a companion were hiking back through snow after dark along a road cut near [name withheld] Lake, with the witness waiting ahead while the companion lagged behind. The witness heard two loud footfalls breaking through ice and water in the shadows to his right, which stopped abruptly. The companion then emerged from a different direction saying he thought the witness had stepped into ice and that something had been walking beside him unseen, and both concluded something large was present before hurrying out.

After feeling uneasy in young fir trees and hearing a loud snap near a brush pile, they noticed something pacing them in brush. About 100 yards from the paved road they saw the head and shoulders of a seven-foot dark silhouette between poplar trees at sunset; it shifted its weight, confirming it was solid, and they retreated to the road.

Late in February 1989 the witness was jogging on a wooded trail at night when footsteps paralleled him about 20 feet inside the treeline. The steps quickened when he ran, continued briefly after he stopped, and suggested a biped taking one stride to his two to three. He ran to a clearing by a golf course, heard heavy breathing and a throaty rumble and a branch snap without seeing a form, then fled to a town street.

The witness was riding as a passenger while a friend drove. They spotted a figure running from behind a school and then along a fenced roadside, dropping to all fours to run like a dog. The driver slowed and shone high beams on it as it passed and looked toward them, then it stood up and ran away quickly.

He did not understand their significance at the time but remembered them clearly. He later interpreted them as possible Bigfoot-related structures after learning more online.

The witness was driving on a forest road near Music Creek when a large dark figure ran across the road in the headlights. The figure was estimated at 7 to 8 feet tall and was moving very fast downslope. The location was described southeast of Estacada, Oregon.

The witness went into a pasture at night with siblings and a possible companion to look for horses. While sweeping a flashlight across a flat, treeless part of the field toward the river, the witness saw two orange glowing eyes on something taller than themselves that made no sound. After watching one eye close and the head turn, the witness ran toward the house in fear and avoided going out at night for a long time.

The figure was walking the same direction as the car, so the witness could not see its face, and it was gone when the witness turned around to look again. The witness's companion was asleep at the time and did not see it.

The witness had been left in the woods by companions in a plane to scout elk and was walking through a clear-cut around 4 o'clock. He heard an unusual sound and saw a grayish animal about 100 yards away standing on two legs and screaming with strange noises. After screaming, the animal turned and walked back into the forest on two legs.
