While working a summer timber-thinning job in the mountains northwest of Fort Collins, the witness and crew walked off-road into the forest and repeatedly noticed X-shaped structures, teepee-like arrangements, hanging items, and trees snapped off high up. He did not understand their significance at the time but remembered them clearly. He later interpreted them as possible Bigfoot-related structures after learning more online.
