The following summer the guest and his brother went to their fishing hole in the creek. They watched a black-haired creature squatting in the water grab and loudly eat raw rainbow trout, look at them with red eyeshine, move a branch with long fingers, then stand tall over a root mass. It splashed through the creek, spider-crawled, climbed the bank, gave grunts and a howl, and cut into the woods where tracks had been seen.

A couple pulled over for the night in a truck with a camper at a Cascade pass. In the middle of the night something reached into the gap between the cab and camper and rummaged, waking them. In the morning the husband found long stinky red hairs where it had reached.
Sasquatch sighting near Ferndale, Michigan (1990)
The guest says that as a teenager he was doing nightly conditioning runs to a wooded park with a large hill, where he would shout to psych himself up. One cold, windy, full-moon night he saw a large fur-covered biped moving through the trees that then came out near a parking lot and rushed toward him, leaving him frozen in fear. He fled on foot to his mother's house and called a friend for help, and later searches of the area with his brother found nothing.

Two years after the first incident the witness shot a deer from the same stand and tracked it with the witness's father for miles. They followed deep tracks to a flat where several creatures were heard and one large creature roared. After a shot missed it, the creature tore off the deer's hind leg, threw it into the witness's chest, and the group was escorted out to the power line.

The witness and a friend were camped on a remote timbered property for deer hunting and listening to a football game. They repeatedly heard very heavy bipedal footsteps circling through thick brush beyond the clearing. Each time they stood and turned the radio down, the sounds stopped, resuming when they sat back down. They dismissed it at the time and never discussed it again until years later.
Fisherman views a sasquatch through binoculars at a distance of 1000 feet
The witness was waiting on an anchored fishing boat while a companion was upriver checking the salmon run. While scanning the shore with binoculars toward evening, the witness saw a sasquatch walking across the tundra about 1,000 feet away. The animal moved with long smooth steps and had dark shoulder hair that bounced behind like a cape.

Two companions were canoeing parallel to the shoreline at sunset when they noticed a thin upright figure watching them from shore. The figure stared intently, then climbed slowly up a dead pine tree and tucked its head, appearing to blend into the branch like a lump of bark. The witnesses observed from offshore without approaching.

The witness found footprints in overnight snow in the morning at home. The tracks started at a tree in front of the house, led around the back to another tree near the chicken coop, circled there about four times, then stopped with no trail leaving the circle or returning to the front. The witness covered one print with a garbage can lid to preserve it for a photo but never got a photo.

The witness and a companion were cross-country skiing on a logging road in January when they found large, fresh, barefoot-like tracks crossing the trail. The tracks had not been there about ten minutes earlier, were estimated at 1.5 to 2 feet long, and only two prints spanned the 6- to 7-foot-wide trail. They found no vehicle tracks or other human footprints to explain them and left the area quickly.

The witness and two companions stopped during a daytime drive to look from a bridge down into a dry dam area. The witness noticed a large gray creature moving quickly away from under the bridge through stones and brush, leaning forward and appearing to have no visible head. The group quickly returned to the car and drove away.

The witness was walking to a rural residence for a delivery when birds, horses, and deer fled from a nearby tree cluster. The witness then heard a loud deep growl rising into a scream from the trees and saw a very tall, wide, dark furry figure partly hidden in shadows moving along the tree line. Frightened, the witness ran to the truck and left. The next day the resident said strange sounds had occurred lately and warned against entering the woods alone.

Four children playing a hiding game around a house heard something large running in a nearby thicket. Shortly after, three of them watched a thick, dark, hairy biped stride across the road and down a bank into a cornfield. They ran inside to tell a relative, who laughed. The witness recalled the image vividly years later.

The witness was deer hunting alone from a ground blind in a remote swamp after dark. While packing up noisily, the witness heard a heavy animal running through the woods, passing about 20 yards away. The footfalls sounded rhythmic like a person running, unlike a deer. The witness never saw anything because of darkness and dense woods.
Daylight sighting by hunters near Gwinn (Upper Peninsula)
Two occupants driving slowly west on a rural road in daylight noticed a tall hairy human-like figure emerge from roadside trees. The figure crossed the road in one or two strides and entered the forest on the opposite side where it was lost from view. The driver braked but continued past the crossing point without stopping, so no tracks or other sign were recovered.
Young man hears nighttime vocalizations and is followed in woods near Mounds
On a summer night in 1990 the witness walked up a field road near his home when he heard a loud whistle followed by screams from nearby ridges. As he fled back toward his house he heard another scream close by and was followed to the creek behind his house, where he heard heavy breathing, growling and bipedal footsteps. He fired a large amount of ammunition toward the sounds without seeing the source, then stayed inside overnight, and the next day found bullet damage to trees and a flattened depression but no blood or tracks.

The witness and a relative were taking a break from farm work to shoot targets on ice by a creek behind the farm. The witness noticed a large five-toed footprint in the ice, described as twice the size of a normal human foot, with a heel print on the opposite bank and no additional prints. The witness, who described experience with animal tracks from trapping and hunting, thought the prints could have been made by a big foot.

The witness and two companions were fishing in a swampy wooded area from a small paddle boat when they heard loud walking in the woods. They looked toward the sound and saw an upright gray-haired entity about 70 to 80 feet away, with its lower body hidden by bushes. They estimated it stood about 7 to 8 feet tall and noted it had very large eyes.

Late at night in 1990, the witness and five companions were walking to their camp in the mountains when they saw a distant moonlit silhouette on a nearby ridge. The figure stood, jumped a great distance, then strode over the far side of the ridge without audible sound, frightening the group. The witness later estimated from memory that the animal was at least eight feet tall.
