Possible tracks and vocalizations outside Lumby
On Jan 14, the witness and his girlfriend hiked from the field across the creek to an old skidder trail. There they found large, widely spaced footprints in deep crunchy snow that the witness could only match at a semi-run and that crossed a fallen log without disturbing the snow on top. Nearby they saw a tree with bark stripped all around the lower five feet. Feeling unsafe, they stopped investigating and left the area.
BC family sees a possible family group of sasquatch
The witness was on a family drive for hiking near Ashnola when the group heard loud screaming and howling from the forest that the son compared to alleged sasquatch sounds heard online. A car horn blast stopped the sounds. The group then drove about a quarter mile and the witness stopped to examine old large footprints in snow in the middle of the road.
Possible sighting at a farm outside Victoria (Vancouver Island)
The witness and two companions were walking near a bonfire when they saw a dark figure run across a horse field. The figure was inside the fence line and reportedly cleared a 5-foot fence at the end of the field. It was viewed from about 60 feet for about 7 seconds and described as nearly 6 feet tall, about 265 lbs, and all black.

A group of seven hikers were hiking on a mountain trail in the afternoon. They heard cackling, yelping, growling and moaning sounds and found the trail blocked by a large uprooted stump with placed boulders and smashed trees. Two upright figures, one black and one light brown and hairy, were seen moving parallel to the group and leaping down a cliff, while the group felt stalked and watched as they hurried out to the road.

The witness was outside the home late at night and heard a strange loud screaming, yelping or whooping sound. The witness was alone during this first hearing. The sound was later compared to recordings on a research website and felt to be similar.
Possible footprints found in BC interior
The witness and two companions were deer hunting when they noted an absence of game and a feeling of being watched. Later near a dried marsh they found widely spaced tracks that turned and appeared to run toward cover, accompanied by a strong foul odor. They left the area for town and returned the next morning to photograph the tracks, when game had returned and the odor was gone.
Various incidents on British Columbia Expedition
During a multi-night group expedition the witness slept locked in a truck parked on a logging road above the tent camp. At about 4:30 a.m. something struck the truck, waking the witness, who remained still with eyes closed and heard heavy bipedal footsteps walk away down the road. After a radio mic click apparently drew it back past the truck, the steps departed again toward another camper's position, who also reported hearing movement. The episode lasted about 15 to 20 minutes and involved no visual sighting.
Motorhome driver reports sighting around 7am near Jasper
The witness was driving a motorhome toward Jasper Park in the early morning when he saw a tall dark-haired figure walking down a hydro clearing toward the highway. The figure took a few steps and stopped at the roadside as the vehicle passed it on the passenger side. The witness's family was asleep and no one else saw it, and he did not photograph it or return to the spot.

The witness reports camping in the Cowichan Valley with companions when they heard something circling them. They then saw an animal briefly but clearly in campfire light. The animal ran off when a loud dirtbike approached.
Early morning sighting by a trucker on Othello Road
A tractor-trailer driver who had overnighted in a parking lot drove east past campgrounds around 5 a.m. He noticed a very tall figure walking away from him on the road, which stepped into the ditch, stopped, and turned to stare at him. The figure was hair-covered with a bare dark face and glaring eyes, then turned and strolled away as the truck approached. The driver did not stop.
Road crossing sighting outside Halfmoon Bay
The witness was driving north on Highway 101 at dusk with high beams on when a huge black figure came down a rocky cliff. The figure crossed the road in seconds with a purposeful stride without looking at the witness and entered the woods on the other side. The witness estimated it at about nine feet tall and described feeling shocked and fearful.
Daylight sighting by hikers in the Checakmus area
A family of three walking with their dog on a de-activated service road stopped briefly when they heard a deep growl and noticed a strong musky odor. The husband saw a large black bipedal figure running through the bushes parallel to the road about 80 yards away. The group went a short distance farther, smelled the odor again, then turned back after the son refused to continue and the dog yelped and ran back to them.
Possible tracks found near Vernon
The witness, who walks dogs in forests near Vernon, reported finding large human-like bare footprints in snow with a companion. The pair of prints crossed a trail at a right angle, with one full print and a partial print at the forest edge. No creature was seen, and no further tracks were found under the tree canopy.

While working at the kayak camp with his small son and dog, the guest noticed the dog growling and staring into the bush. The guest saw only a darker brown shape with long hairs through the cover and then heard something move up the hill. He did not count it as a definite sighting.

Around 5 a.m. the witness was awakened at home by loud, unidentifiable animal-like calls that seemed to move across the property toward nearby flats over about 20 minutes. The household dog froze during the sounds, and usual background wildlife was silent. The witness's husband woke afterward and also heard the distant calls, and both said they had never heard such sounds in decades living in the area.
Morning sighting by logging crew near White Swan Lake
While starting a morning heli-logging shift, the witness and coworkers watched a large brown human-shaped figure moving on two legs along a nearby ridge for about 20 minutes. The figure paused and appeared to watch them, standing motionless before bending over as if to touch its toes and then standing upright again. When the crew briefly looked away to begin work, the figure had disappeared.

On an August evening while rock hounding in Sunshine Valley, the witness, seated in a truck with a companion, saw a hairy bipedal figure about 200 yards ahead cross the road in a few unhurried steps without looking toward them. The figure was described as muscular yet slender with long arms and dark to reddish-brown hair. The forest had gone quiet beforehand, the witness was stunned and unable to speak, then left the area.
Villager Observes a Large, Bipedal Animal in the Kincolith River
The witness was fishing on the river in the late afternoon when he noticed a figure about 150 yards away in shallow water. The figure ignored his whistles, shouts, and arm-waving, splashed in place for about an hour, then stood and walked out of the water on two legs away from the village. The witness, who reports seeing grizzly bears regularly, stated he was certain it was not a bear.
Man has rocks tossed at him while fishing WhiteSwan Lake
The witness was fishing from an anchored boat about 50 feet from shore late on a very dark night. Large rocks were thrown from a forested and inaccessible shoreline, with one barely missing the boat and a second seen hitting the water. The witness rowed back to the campground, where others reported hearing five splashes. A search of the suspected shoreline the next day found no footprints or other explanation.

The witness was hiking back toward the day-use lot in light rain after walking to the west end of the lake with a companion. After scuffing a foot on gravel, the witness heard a loud grunt and a large branch snap uphill, then saw a large reddish-brown hairy form crouched by a fallen tree about 40-50 ft away, partly hidden by undergrowth. The form stood, held an arm across the face area, looked back once, and left quickly and silently upright without dropping to all fours.
