Human-like footprints are found around a garage heading back into a remote hollow
A garage owner found very large human-like footprints in the snow around a garage set back in the woods. The tracks were said to come out of and return to a densely wooded area called Goulds Hollow after circling the garage. A relative initially dismissed the report but then viewed the tracks himself.

In mid to late summer 1999, the witness and their father were searching for ginseng in old timber south of town. They heard a very loud rumbling growling howl the witness had never heard before, which frightened them and ended their search. Two sisters sitting in the backyard at dusk saw a very tall figure run past them at close range and continue toward a fence line, while their father heard dogs barking and came to the back but did not see the figure. The dogs chased the figure toward a barbed-wire fence then stopped and returned without any sound of impact. Years later the family reinterpreted the cape-like appearance behind the runner as possibly long hair and filed the incident as a possible Sasquatch sighting.
Woman has two evening encounters twenty years apart
The witness was up late doing laundry at home when she glanced at an open window and saw the head, shoulders and upper back of a tall hairy figure walking past. The window was about six feet off the ground, leading to an initial height estimate of about seven feet, later revised to about eight feet after the window was measured. The figure reportedly bumped against the house as it passed.

Four people boating into a cove at Salt Fork heard a loud, bassy sound from a wooded shoreline that was audible over the boat motor and resembled a mechanical siren winding up. The operator shut off the engine to listen. The reporter later said the sound was very close to a posted Ohio Howl audio clip, except closer, and noted a companion reported knocking sounds he did not recall.
Recollection of a daylight sighting while riding mini-bikes near Chardon
Two companions were riding mini bikes on a wooded trail and stopped to walk off the trail. A small hair-covered figure jumped from a tree about 20-30 feet ahead, landed on two feet facing them, and stared at them for several seconds. The pair ran back to their bikes and left quickly without looking back.
Fisherman Observes White Creature Swimming in Antrim Lake
The witness reports fishing at dawn on the shore of a quarry lake when bubbles rose and churned in the middle of the water. A large white entity surfaced, swam across the lake, exited on the far side, and walked up the bank into woods bordering a river. The witness estimated its size by comparing it to a cyclist at the exit point.
Nighttime sighting by three in car, on Sprucevale Rd. near Calcutta
Three people driving at night saw a hairy monkey-like figure crouched on a wooded hillside in their car headlights. They did not compare notes until about half a mile later, when they found all three had seen the same thing. They drove back to the spot but the figure was gone, and they left without entering the woods.

The witness reports lying on a bed in a mobile home when an entity stood outside the back screen window for one to two minutes with loud cavernous breathing. A pet dog hid inside a dog box, growling and whining, and would not come out. The witness describes the moment as terrifying.
Bow hunter recalls hearing screams near Wayne National Forest
Late one October morning the witness left a house on foot for a bow hunt carrying recording gear. About 100 to 125 yards down a logging road he heard a loud sustained scream from the woods to his left, estimated within 100 feet. The sound rose from a low moan to a scream then fell to a rumble ending in three woof-like blasts, lasting 7-10 seconds and never repeated. He continued hunting in the opposite direction and nothing further occurred.

Late at night in December, the witness's wife reported seeing glowing eyes looking through a back window while the family watched TV. Moments later their son stepped onto the front porch and reported seeing a tall, dark, long-haired figure peeking from behind the garage. The reporter did not see the figure but later found a large faint footprint in the field beside the garage.

A different man in the same general area found small unusual footprints the same year and showed photos to the investigator. He had never heard the white-being report, but proximity suggested possible connection.

A wildlife exterminator out calling coyotes first noticed a white shape near turkeys, then encountered a small white primate-like being about 50 feet away in woods. It swayed, appeared curious, retreated and reappeared farther back as if inviting follow, and he declined to pursue or shoot.

In the same Ohio area as children, the witness and his brother found bare human-like footprints in snow in a creek. They followed the tracks to the edge of a cornfield and found it odd anyone would be barefoot in snow.

At about age 12 the witness carried a dead turkey up power lines to throw over a fence. Walking back he noticed something huge pacing him through trees where he could see through to a field. He told his father and grandfather it was some man on the hill.

After partying at a private lake, the guest drove out late and struck a two-foot hairy juvenile that ran into his car's headlight. He heard a thump, slowed, then heard a loud roar from the woods and fled. While circling back behind the lake he heard growling and movement following through the woods and sped away.

The witness walked a dog around a lake road bordered by tall woods. Something walked on two feet alongside in the woods and the dog became distressed. After turning back, a very loud scream vibrated through her and she ran to a house where others had also heard it.

He fired a sidearm at point-blank range then fled screaming to the grandfather, and both left in the truck. The brother reportedly never hunted or entered the woods again.
