The witness was tending a beach fire after midnight when he noticed a dark bipedal figure walking south along the waterline in full moonlight. He ran to intercept it but could not catch up as it moved very quickly toward the jetty, then turned to face the ocean, arched its back and appeared to look back at him before disappearing near the jetty shadows. No tracks were recoverable because high-tide waves covered the waterline.
Campers hear possible vocalizations at night near Kalama Horse Camp
Five people were camping near a river when they heard heavy, slow movement in nearby brush shortly after starting to cook. The brush noise was heard twice and stopped when approached. Later around 11 p.m. while sitting around the fire they heard brief distant screaming that they felt was not directed at them and may have been communication between distant animals.
Possible moonlight sighting by prospector outside Metaline Falls City
In July 2005 the witness woke at night in a prospecting camp and smelled wet fur. The witness then watched a large figure cross a creek about 20 feet away for about 10 minutes until it stepped behind a tree and disappeared after a truck bed light was switched on. A relative was present at the camp but did not see the figure.

The witness and a companion parked in a small forest clearing at night to watch the sky. They heard three loud raspy screams, each followed by three rhythmic deep thuds in the ground. After waiting silently in the car, they heard further rustling and an unspecified sound before driving down and sleeping by the road.
Possible vocalizations at Kulshan Campground on Baker Lake
The witness woke in the middle of the night while camping in a tent at a wooded campground near Baker Lake. For about an hour the witness listened to distant yelping and other loud vocalizations that sounded distinct from dogs barking elsewhere in the campground, along with sounds described as rocks being thrown in the woods. The witness did not see anything and reported that no companions mentioned hearing the sounds the next day.
Angler finds tracks, hears knocks and senses ominous presence east of North Bend
The witness was scouting a tributary creek of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie for a place to fish when he found large fresh tracks on both sides of the water. He then smelled a foul odor, felt watched, and heard repeated loud knocking sounds while returning to his car. He hurried to his car where his wife was waiting and left the area, saying he has not returned alone since.

Late at night the witness sat on an open windowsill at home next to wetlands and watched a large dark figure emerge from vegetation on a hill. The figure walked bipedally down the hill, across the flat yard, and into the swamp without stopping or looking around. The witness heard twigs crunching underfoot but could not see detailed features in the moonlight.

The witness and companions were hiking in the Hoh Rainforest when they found a large footprint in mud. The witness compared it to his own boot, noting it was slightly longer and much deeper than a hard stomp he made. A second, smaller partial print was found farther along the trail. The witness photographed the clearer track for scale.
Turkey hunters surprised by loud vocalizations near Wenatchee
While turkey hunting in the morning with a relative, the witness used a turkey box call. A nearby loud howl that turned into a roaring scream answered the call, followed by two more distant replies farther up the canyon as the call was repeated. The pair moved toward the first sound but saw nothing in the scattered pines.
Young Girl Experiences Rock and Stick Throwing
The witness was walking home at night near a creek when something began throwing sticks and rocks and following her. The throwing reportedly paused when cars passed. She ran to a bridge where the pursuer entered bushes but continued throwing objects, while she heard footsteps, smelled a strong bad odor, and glimpsed only a large dark figure. Footprints were reportedly found in sand the next day.

Three people drove to a remote pond in mid-afternoon and heard a repetitive monkey-like 'ooh' sound. They hiked toward the sound and found a footprint while the vocalization continued and seemed to approach closely behind them without crashing brush. When they returned months later, the sound was gone.

The witness was on a ladder cleaning the gutter of his two-story house in the morning when he heard a series of low-pitched, long howls. Dogs began barking once the howling started. He said the sound was distinctly different from any canine howl or bark and was uncannily similar to an Ohio howl recording posted on the same website.

They spent two to three hours pursuing what they thought was an opposing-force scout wearing a ghillie suit. Late in the evening the witness was in a vehicle on a dead-end road watching for animals with headlights on. A tall hair-covered bipedal figure emerged from the right side and crossed the road in two strides into dense timber. Late at night the witness heard loud, complex bark- and growl-like vocalizations coming from a ravine near the house. The sounds were described as louder and more structured than dogs, coyotes, or other familiar animals, and local dogs began barking during the episode. An attempted audio recording failed, and the sounds eventually stopped. The next day the witness found trampled vegetation, a coyote carcass, tarp pieces, a dog dish, and scat near the estimated sound source.

While trying to restart it, the witness noticed a large man-like figure standing at the roadside beyond the headlights. When the car started, the figure turned and strode into the timber with striding legs and swinging arms, and the witness left immediately feeling terrified.

The witness and her husband were hunting in a clear-cut next to timber in the morning when they heard two loud human-like screams from the stand of trees. Both heard the second scream very close by. The witness associated the sound with Bigfoot vocalizations she had heard in documentaries and said neither she nor her husband had ever heard anything like it.

The witness was leaving for work when he looked toward a soccer field and saw a dark figure hunched down. He pulled his truck over to watch it because he worried about children getting off a bus. The figure covered the length of the field in a few seconds before he could react.

Two hunters walking on an old logging road just before dark heard a very loud breathy yell and a stick-like strike from dense brush about 50 feet away. Over about an hour they heard dozens of repeated yells, each followed by one or two knocks, and saw no other people in the area. They returned to their hunting spots with rifles loaded and later thought the sounds matched yelling and wood knocking shown on a Bigfoot television program.
Series of vocalizations around the town of Joyce
On the afternoon of October 15 the author entered dense brush at the survey work site to examine a fir tree said to have shaken during a reported fight. The lower moss and twigs on the fir were undisturbed except for one broken twig higher up, while the ground was torn up. About 12 feet away the author found large human-like pad prints with a distinctive big toe, one about 15 inches long and another about 14.5 inches long heading toward the tree.
