Fishern reports knocks and trees pushed over on lake near Greenwood
Over spring and summer 2022 the witness repeatedly visited a remote trout pond to fish from a canoe. During visits the witness heard multiple tree falls and many tree knocks without seeing the source, with activity increasing to a peak in mid-August. On a mid-August visit the witness found a birch section leaned against another tree at the water's edge that had not been noticed before and later found intact birch bark on rocks blocking the trail. The witness reported strange occurrences only while on the pond fishing, not while hiking in, out, or around.

Knocks heard near Spectacle Pond, 27 miles east of Bangor
The witness had been staying at his camp for over a week and stepped outside late at night before bed. From just inside the woodline a short distance away he heard repeated loud thwacks like wood striking a tree, about ten times over a few minutes and sounding progressively more distant. It was pitch dark so he saw nothing, and he heard no footsteps or brush noise despite dense woods. The next morning he searched the area in daylight and found no sign.
Distinct wood knocks heard 18 miles NNE of Bangor
The witness had run out of fuel while cutting a road through wilderness and was standing outside the machine. Loud wood-on-wood knocks were heard from the treeline about 50 yards away, and the witness exchanged knocks with the unseen source multiple times. After leaving briefly and returning, the exchange resumed until the witness started a phone video recording, after which the sounds stopped.
Multi-witness daylight sighting along powerlines south of Bryant Pond
Three people clearing an ATV trail under power lines saw a large bipedal creature about 200 yards away walking toward them, which stopped and turned quickly into the woods. One witness rode an ATV to the nearby road to try to intercept it, but it was gone. While checking roadside sand for prints they heard a short howl followed by two sets of three tree knocks.

After moving to a home in Maine the witness had repeated trash disturbance and nighttime tree bangs like a bat hitting trees. Howls were heard and a sound mimicking an infant was reported. The call dropped before the account was finished.

After a friend reported being stalked, the witness examined a large Maine equestrian property and found tree structures and very large tracks. He followed the tracks along an old horse trail to a bog where he heard answering tree knocks left and right and backed out alone without a gun.
