He heard three loud whacking sounds like leather striking a pine, then several seconds of steps, then three strikes again from an estimated thirty to forty yards away. While fishing a remote spillway with his father, the witness heard distant wood knocks that got closer and heard something bipedal pacing in thick woods. A Red Bull can flew out of the woods and landed near another fisherman, which frightened the father. They left as it got dark planning to return next day.

They ran to a cul-de-sac and watched a tall hairy ape-like figure reach around a tree and step into a house floodlight, stare at them, then walk back into the woods.
