The witness was cleaning and preparing an auction site in the mountains when large barefoot tracks were found that dwarfed the witness's own foot. A few days later around midday a massive dark bipedal figure was seen leaning from behind a tree, was photographed, then left with heavy steps and a foul smell as the phone camera failed. That evening and the next night loud echoing vocalizations and loud bird-like whistles were heard while deer disappeared and the woods went silent.

The witness was bow-hunting deer from a tree stand at dusk when deer ran through the creek below after a scream and thump. After climbing down to investigate, he smelled strong body odor, heard tapping and vocal sounds coming from two directions, and had acorn-like objects thrown at him. He then briefly saw a large dark figure watching him from cover before fleeing the area and never returning.

The witness was alone in a tree stand before sunrise waiting near a bait pile. An adult female-like creature and a smaller juvenile emerged on all fours, then the adult stood, vocalized, and left with the juvenile after a distant reply was heard. The witness remained frozen, then backed out and fled to the truck and gave up hunting afterward.

After moving to full-time residence, the guest was repeatedly awakened by forceful strikes to her elevated bedroom balcony and garage side that shook rooms but revealed no one on inspection. The strikes occurred repeatedly in the early-morning hours and were accompanied at times by creepy laughing, whistling and knocking from the surrounding woods. She initially suspected human harassment but never saw anyone despite immediate searches with a flashlight.
