Birds in a nearby tree went loud then bolted, cats ran, then an extremely loud lion-like roar rattled their chests and froze them. The witness joined a group of about eight on a three-night expedition in southeastern Oklahoma to let the beings come to them. The group heard grunting, whistling, chatter, footsteps and close tree-breaking, had pebbles and a rock thrown, and saw large upright black shadow figures with night vision and naked eyes. One figure was seen behind a truck and one coworker was startled by movement in brush, with no one seriously hurt.

At age 15 the guest was fishing alone at a creek near his father's house when he heard whoops and saw a large hairy figure behind a sycamore. He confronted it with a .22 rifle, and after it growled and roared he shot it in the throat, then in the hand, then multiple times in the chest as it screamed, broke saplings, and ran straight through a barbed-wire fence across a hay meadow. Later that day his father found broken trees, blood and hair on the sycamore, and blood and hair on the broken fence wires.

After two researchers visited, played guitar, and threw rocks, a recorder left in the guest-house garage window captured about 30 minutes of baby-like crying, moaning, and hitting that sounded like pinging on glass. The crying recurred sporadically for nearly a week. The witness ruled out a human infant due to January cold and midnight timing.

Chickens were frightened with one laying prematurely, dogs barked, and her brother came out with a light and firearm. Around the same period a newly nailed chicken-pen roof was ripped back, mulch buckets were moved without spilling, finger-like swipes appeared in a bucket, and she often felt watched near the barn and swing set.

About two weeks after the roof sighting, the witness walked the same direction at dusk and heard very loud monkey-like noises from a wooded lot. She first thought it was a movie from a nearby trailer, but windows and doors were closed and the sound came from the trees. The noise stopped as she neared, then resumed after she passed, and she hurried away without looking.

The guest and companions heard whistles, wood knocks and a pig-like grunt approaching up a ravine. A very tall light-colored massive creature emerged about 90 feet away and crossed quickly through weeds before descending a steep ravine without slipping. The guest chased with a video camera but only captured leaf glare, later finding a flattened grass trail where it had passed.

The guest and his daughter were walking on trails on their property when he heard a tree knock to the east and an odd crow-like sound to the west. He felt positioned between two sources and possibly walking into an ambush. He called his daughter and returned to the house.
