A semi-truck driver reported seeing a dark, hairy upright figure walking across an open field toward dense woods in daylight. The figure was about 200 feet away, moving steadily with long arms swinging, and was watched for several seconds while driving past. The driver's spouse submitted the initial report, and researchers later interviewed the driver and visited the area but found no physical traces.

On the night of April 18, 2020 the witness was at home when a dog began barking persistently and a loud guttural growl was heard at the back door, also noticed by a cat. In spring 2016 after returning home from an evening walk near his home, the witness looked back across an open field toward the woods and saw the back of a tall, broad, hair-covered upright creature standing still about 150 yards away. After a few seconds it moved quickly into the woods. He later estimated it was over seven feet tall with no visible neck and a peaked, caramel-colored head and back.

The group found distinct five-toed tracks, heard an owl-call answered oddly, heard a warning-like howl and later chatter, and saw saplings broken at angles. While forward of the group at night the witness used thermal to see a large heat mass between trees that vanished, and shortly after others in the same vicinity were growled at.

As she got closer it moved off the road into the ditch, then stood up from a bent-over position, lifted a leg over a log, and disappeared into the forest. On a hot afternoon while driving about 60 mph, the witness glanced over and saw a tall inky-black bulky figure stepping into thick bushes and trees by the road. Seen briefly at a diagonal for about two seconds, it looked well over six feet with a flat forehead and head pointed at the back.

Through binoculars the witness watched a dark hairy figure concealed among tumbleweeds around a tree, moving to stay hidden and at one point peering over a branch with only its head and eyes visible. The figure later appeared at another tree behind reeds and underbrush watching the vehicle. The companion could not see what the witness described from his position in the vehicle.

The figure briefly turned at the waist and head toward her, apparently having heard the trailer door. She watched it for only a few seconds in poor light provided by a neighboring light.
