At midday the witness was standing by his truck in his ex-wife's driveway when he briefly saw a large hairy figure walking behind nearby buildings. He tried to follow it toward the adjacent woods but saw and heard nothing further. Hours later he was told two workers behind the same house had also reported seeing a monster.

The witness was day-hiking with companions on a reservation trail when a companion noted movement in the woods. In a clearer area the witness saw a light-brown arm-like shape swing down, while the companion reported seeing the upper body of a light-brown Sasquatch ducking behind cover. The witness photographed the spot and later revisited it to estimate height from a marker stick.

In April 2002 just before sunrise, the witness let her dogs into the fenced backyard. The dogs ran barking toward the fence then retreated yelping as she noticed a tall hair-covered figure behind a tree in the neighboring yard. The figure leaped sideways between trees then moved forward toward her to within about 20 feet on the other side of the fence, causing her to flee inside and lock the doors.

In summer 2005 the witness drove back from a relative's house late at night and pulled into the mother's driveway. The headlights illuminated a large hairy figure standing partly behind a dumpster at the bottom of the driveway, which looked toward the witness without moving. The witness froze, tried to call inside, then left and slept in the car up the street until morning.

Late at night three people walking on a gravel road smelled a strong foul odor. When they returned to the spot, a tall creature stood up from the roadside ditch, frightening them and causing them to flee. The witness was driving north on a highway at night approaching a lit intersection. A tall dark figure emerged from the roadside ditch, approached the car in one stride, and stared at the witness. The witness continued to the stop sign, saw the figure standing in the middle of the road in the rearview mirror, and drove on without stopping.

The next morning while riding past a dilapidated small house, the witness glimpsed what looked like three small whitish-haired heads with backs turned, bobbing as if eating inside a dark window. He questioned whether it was imagination or a curtain after being unnerved the night before. His horse then bolted and carried him into a thorn tree.

In fall 1974 the witness was bowhunting and driving along the Niobrara River when he stopped to check a ravine. He saw a tall coal-colored hairy creature about 40 to 50 feet away watching him for about two seconds before it turned and ran south up the ravine on two feet. During a haunted trail fundraiser in a timber, youths imitating whoops and growls got a guttural growl response. When they lit the area, a creature knocked a good-sized tree over and flipped it end over end toward them, then ran away jumping off a hill with loud heavy footfalls.
