The witness was day-hiking with companions on a reservation trail when a companion noted movement in the woods. In a clearer area the witness saw a light-brown arm-like shape swing down, while the companion reported seeing the upper body of a light-brown Sasquatch ducking behind cover. The witness photographed the spot and later revisited it to estimate height from a marker stick.

Later measurement found marker stick top about 11 feet high, placing top of swinging arm around 9 feet tall.
