The witness was driving slowly at night after leaving a friend's cabin when a large hair-covered biped entered the road from the right. The witness braked to avoid hitting it and watched it take three steps across the road into the woods on the left without stopping or looking. The witness then sat stunned for a minute or more before driving on.

The witness was sitting in a parked car in a driveway talking on the phone in the late afternoon. The witness noticed about 30 deer running quickly across a yard beyond a creek. Seconds later a very tall, solid black upright figure appeared following the deer, walking steadily and pausing briefly behind trees. The witness watched it from about 100 yards away and estimated it was 8 to 10 feet tall by comparison to the deer.

Two people driving east on a dirt forest road heard a loud ruckus in the woods and stopped. A tall, dark-brown upright creature ran across the road about 10 feet in front of their vehicle, crossing in two steps. It continued about 40 yards into the woods and disappeared within seconds.

The witness was riding as a passenger in a daytime car trip when she noticed a very tall hair-covered biped in a clearing beside the road. The figure was walking north and she kept watching it as the car passed until she lost sight of it. She told the driver what she had seen, but the driver had been driving and did not see the figure.

The witness was driving along a road overlooking a lake in daylight when she noticed a tall black figure moving easily up a steep snow-covered hillside. The figure crossed a driveway between wooded areas toward distant power lines, slouching and swinging its arms, with no hat, clothing, or snowshoes and a head that appeared to sit directly on its shoulders. The observation lasted a few minutes as the car moved, with the dark figure standing out against snow and sunlight. The witness first thought it was a man but concluded a man could not have walked that slope in deep snow so easily.

The witness found a deer carcass with limbs removed, bones broken and all hair piled separately like a rug. Continuing toward the cliffs in daylight he watched a tall skinny black figure run about seventy yards past him. It moved extremely fast over stumps and rocks and stopped abruptly at a tree without being seen again.

A large brown bipedal creature came out of the treeline, seemed to notice them, then retreated into the woods. The next day they found branches snapped high where it had emerged.

The witness first watched a human-shaped figure move from bushes toward the back of a neighbor's house, then waited near the end of the street and saw a hair-covered biped run across a lawn into adjacent woods. The dogs barked intensely and pulled toward the creature.

The figure looked at the witness, then quickly ran off the tracks, up a small embankment, and into the woods within seconds. The witness described it as very tall, fully covered in dark hair, and making no noise.

At age 14 on a summer day the witness was walking between the rails looking down when he stumbled forward. He looked up to see a tall hairy silhouette about 50 to 75 feet away. It stood briefly then turned, took a few steps up a rocky incline and went into the woods without sound.

As a child, the witness watched from a second-floor farmhouse window as a tall, hairy biped crossed the front yard uphill, repeatedly glancing back and briefly meeting his gaze before disappearing around the house. Frightened, he ran to his parents, and a relative and a companion went outside and found oversized footprints that they followed by car across a plowed field until the tracks led uphill toward the forest and disappeared.
