As a child, the witness watched from a second-floor farmhouse window as a tall, hairy biped crossed the front yard uphill, repeatedly glancing back and briefly meeting his gaze before disappearing around the house. Frightened, he ran to his parents, and a relative and a companion went outside and found oversized footprints that they followed by car across a plowed field until the tracks led uphill toward the forest and disappeared.

Measurements: about seventeen inches long and six inches wide; stride at least six feet long
Researcher searched database for yellow-eyes reports and noted scientists generally view eyeshine as reflected light.
