Coming home around 3 a.m. after a double shift, the guest drove toward a shape in the pasture and realized it was a squatting hairy creature with blood around its mouth holding a dead animal. The creature showed contempt, bared bloody teeth, then stood to about 6 foot 8 and walked away while the guest backed out in his truck.

Around 3 a.m. in December the witness was driving home along Clyattville Road in Brooks County when she noticed a very tall bipedal figure standing by a bridge and apparently reaching toward tree branches. As she approached with bright lights and sounded the horn, the figure turned its head toward the car, showing a red eye reflection, and lowered one long arm. Frightened, she did not stop and drove quickly past.

After noticing unnatural silence and hearing branch snaps circling him, he returned to his car. While sitting in the car he heard repeated impacts like cones hitting the vehicle and saw tall black hooded figures in the treeline and prone shapes on the grass that appeared closer each time he looked away, with faint flickering lights near their faces. He spoke to them, then drove away, later finding no damage and noticing maps show the turnout on the opposite side of the road from his memory.

A relative searched the yard with a gun but found no sign, hearing only distant gunshots and unfamiliar men shouting in the woods.
