Two companions were hiking in an open, wet fall woods behind a house in the early evening when they noticed scrap wood and heard sticks snapping behind them. Turning, they saw a tall brown furry figure standing on two legs and staring at them. They fled toward the house while the figure appeared to keep pace, and one companion punctured his foot on a thorn through his boot but continued running.
