Less than a football field away the witness watched a tall brown hairy biped walking toward nearby water for about 10-13 seconds. The creature walked upright with large steps at a leisurely pace, glanced toward the witness without showing alarm, then continued on. Recent logging noise was noted nearby and a later visit to the area led to a revised taller height estimate.

Later that evening her niece, who had been ahead, asked if she had seen the figure by the rope swing.
