While crossing the yard to prop the barrel upright, they heard brush breaking and saw a very tall hairy creature with long arms staring at them near the woods. After the witness shouted, the creature turned and walked slowly toward the woods with long strides and swinging arms, and the pair ran to their car.

The witness was driving in the morning when they noticed a large hair-covered man-like figure standing at the edge of the woods about 50 feet away. The figure first moved backwards with small steps, then turned and walked deeper into the woods until it could no longer be seen. The witness estimated its height from nearby pine trees at upper six feet to near seven feet with very broad shoulders.

Two relatives were at a tree house in the evening when one noticed squawking birds, a shaking tree, and a long tail. After regrouping in the tree house, they fled toward a vehicle when a creature reportedly jumped from the tree and ran toward them. They reached the house highly frightened and later refused to return alone.
