During the first research week in Area X, the group heard rocks banging alternately on distant cabins and saw movement on a brushy hillside. The witness approached a log where his partner saw a limb snap back, saw nothing, then later his partner ran toward two upright dark figures circling to flank them. The larger collided with the smaller when she charged, then both fled rapidly uphill, one on all fours.

After leaving the large ship at night, the witness stopped on the sidewalk and watched a dull gray spherical object hovering roughly 800 to 1000 feet up. The witness walked a narrow tractor trail at night to check a hog trap while a companion waited in the car. He heard footsteps, a deep rumbling growl, and smelled an intensely foul odor, then sensed something following and stopping behind him. The companion turned on headlights and saw a very tall, black-haired biped standing close behind him making threatening fist and foot displays. The creature crashed away through brush when lights flashed, and the witness abandoned his equipment and never returned.

While taking garbage cans to the road, the witness looked up to see a black triangle hovering low overhead with pulsing red lights. The witness felt paralyzed and watched it glide sideways, tilt, flash erratically, then depart with a whoosh. The witness ran inside to tell a family member.

A tow truck driver was loading a car that had struck an elk late at night when he heard a deep grunt. He shone a light and saw an upright creature dragging the dead elk one-handed by the antlers through deep snow into a drainage. The creature looked at him, continued dragging the elk about 100 feet, and disappeared from view after about 15 seconds.
Possible nighttime sighting while standing with friends outside a rural home near Wesley Chapel
Late at night the witness and two companions were talking outside a rural home when the witness noticed movement between houses. Under a street light they watched a tall dark hairy biped run across the cul-de-sac without looking toward them. The group reacted with great fear, with one person running inside and the others driving away, later agreeing they had seen a bigfoot.
Motorist has daytime sighting near I-10 Exit east of Pensacola
The witness was driving eastbound on the interstate in late morning when a large dark figure stepped out from trees beside the highway, looked toward traffic, then returned to the woods. The witness passed within about 30 feet but had only a brief view at highway speed and noted long arms, straight shaggy hair, and a slight hunch, with the face obscured by an arm. A companion in the car did not see the figure.

During a December camping and hunting trip, at dusk the witness noticed eyes at the base of a tree near the tent area, then watched a Bigfoot-like figure run on all fours toward the lake. The figure was described as slender and human-like with a large crown on the head, large dark eyes and straight lips, with its head held level with its back while looking at the ground.
Pre-dawn sighting by a deer hunter in his truck near Elkhorn
The witness had parked his truck on a ridge road before dawn to deer hunt. After hearing coyotes, he got back in the truck and then saw a tall hair-covered human-like figure emerge from the woods beside the truck. The figure paused facing the truck, then walked around it and left down the point out of sight. The witness stayed in the truck until daylight, then found skid marks where it descended but no footprints.
Homeowner describes possible activity near Richview
At night the witness used a high-powered spotlight from an ATV at the edge of woods on the property to illuminate an upright figure about 40 yards away. The animal was described as about eight feet tall, very wide and very dark-haired, with the face not visible. After being lit, it walked further back into the timber out of sight.

The witness was deer hunting in a valley at dawn when a loud scream was heard nearby. The yell was loud enough to startle turkeys roosting overhead. Looking toward the sound, the witness saw a tall black animal about 70 yards away that then disappeared.

The witness was deer hunting from an elevated stand near a pond late in the day. They spotted an upright, hair-covered figure by a cedar tree and watched it through a rifle scope for under a minute. After the witness disengaged the gun's safety, the figure grunted and fled into brush. The witness later found hair on a broken limb and thumb-like marks and scratches on bark where the figure had been.

The witness parked to check two close trail cameras and felt strong pressure and dread. After hearing twig snaps and a huffing exhale, the witness looked up to see a tall black bushy figure about 20 yards away by a tree. It ducked to a squat and shuffled quickly as the witness armed the camera and ran to the road, then drove home shaken.
Driver spots a tall biped crossing the road just west of Miami
Late at night the witness was driving south on Krome Highway in western Miami after leaving a casino. In the outer reach of the headlights a tall dark bipedal figure crossed the road left to right in about three strides while hunched forward in a jogging motion. The witness estimated it at 8 to 9 feet tall with a build proportional to its height and said it never looked toward the car.

The witness walked through the woods to his deer blind for a late hunt and smelled a foul odor. He saw a large hairy creature with its head in the blind, which stood up and faced him for about 10-15 seconds. After grunting, stomping, and staring, the creature stepped over fences and left into the woods.

The witness was walking alone on an ATV trail toward a hunting clearing in early morning darkness. A large upright animal crossed the trail in two strides, then moved quickly downhill as the witness illuminated it with a flashlight for a few seconds. The witness described a tall, muscular, dark-furred animal and then returned to the vehicle and left.

The witness reported driving at night and coming within about 20 feet of a very tall upright figure standing in the roadway. The figure reportedly shielded its eyes from the headlights, made eye contact and snarled to show large teeth, then left into a thicket after about a minute. The witness also reported a musk-like odor and missing fingers on one of the figure's hands.
Nighttime sighting near a dumpster by a bicyclist in Canton
A bicyclist riding home late at night heard a noise by a dumpster behind a shed and saw a short stocky dark bipedal figure. The figure turned and walked into thin woods toward a cornfield, and the rider fled home to tell a companion. The companion checked the site minutes later but found only a trapped raccoon in the dumpster.

In October 2009 the witness was cutting timber on a neighbor's farm when he noticed a black hairy upright figure about 200 yards away by a cedar grove.
