The witness was walking through a field to a friend's house late at night when they noticed a dark figure standing at the edge of pines. After watching briefly, the figure turned toward the witness, screamed for an extended period, and ran on two legs into the woods with visible arm swing while crashing through brush. The witness was frightened, continued to the friend's house, and reported no further sightings.

The witness and his father were driving back toward their campsite in the national forest in the morning when they saw a large upright figure on and crossing the dirt road. The figure briefly stopped, looked toward them, then stepped off the road and walked downhill into the woods, at one point completely blocking a roadside sign from view. They drove to the spot where it left the road and found the brush undisturbed and no tracks.

While commuting to work in the morning, the witness pulled over to watch what they first thought was a bear sitting under a large pecan tree. After noticing a strong foul odor, they watched the animal stand, walk to the tree on two feet, and shake pecans from it. After the witness honked, the animal froze, turned to look, made a loud screeching noise, and ran quickly into the woods.

In November 1997 the witness looked from an upstairs window and saw two gray upright figures at the woods edge about 100 yards behind the house. He watched for about ten seconds while they stood side by side swaying, then ran downstairs and outside but they were gone. A relative who was at the house did not see them, and a later search found no tracks or unusual odor.

The witness and a relative were trout fishing in a river in the morning, with the witness on a rock mid-river. The witness saw a hair-covered bipedal figure across the river watching them for several seconds. The figure then turned and walked uphill into a thicket where it could be heard but not seen again. The relative downstream reportedly saw the same figure.

The witness was traveling by vehicle on a highway in daylight when she saw a large dark furry bipedal figure emerge from woods on one side. The figure stepped over a roadside fence, crossed four lanes quickly with a smooth gliding run, then stepped over a fence on the far side and disappeared into a pine thicket. A companion traveling with her did not see it.

They found something hunkered by the bales, shone a small light on it, and it stood up very tall and screamed. The witness fled, ran off the bales, severely broke an ankle, and required hospital surgery.

Two people hunting deer near a creek crossing watched a shape first mistaken for a stump move, crouch, stand upright and stretch. The witness observed through a rifle scope an apelike face and hair-covered body moving along the creek for about ten minutes. As they backed away, a growl and a single loud scream were heard from its direction before it ran and leapt across the creek, after which the pair left.

The car glanced the creature, then the witness stopped and the creature got up, approached, and chased the car, striking the rear. The witness drove away and later found a dented quarter panel with hair, a shattered spoiler, and a lingering foul smell on the car.

A very large hair-covered biped took one long stride into the path about 20-25 feet away and faced the car for a minute or more, breathing heavily and flexing its fists. After a whistle-like sound from the woods, the creature made a dismissive huff, stepped out of sight in one stride, and left silently. The two men drove away and did not return.
