Sighting by a Backpacker Near Bullfrog Lake
The witness was hiking back toward camp in daylight when they noticed a small bear-like figure showing interest in a backpack at the camp from about 100 yards away. After watching for about two minutes, the figure stood and walked bipedally into the trees with person-like arm swing and a smooth gait, disappearing at 200-250 yards. The witness interpreted the figure as a young Sasquatch about 4.5 feet tall and reported feeling that something unnatural was being witnessed.

The guest describes traveling with a companion to Northern California to look for footprints and riding out daily from a camp on Bluff Creek. On October 20 they rode up the creek bed and encountered a large muscular creature standing by the water, which the companion filmed while the guest covered him. They followed its scuffs and a partial footprint uphill, later protected tracks for others to see, and noted a strong musky odor.

At the home driveway the creature paused by a cedar tree, watched, then left into the forest in a few strides, after which the witness cried out and a relative searched the area.

They stopped after noticing a dark stump-like shape in the middle of the lot and, when wind moved long hair, realized it was a large hairy figure sitting cross-legged apparently asleep. A cat with them arched and screeched, drawing her attention to a huge black man-like figure with long flowing hair. The figure crouched then stood and ran uphill bent over, weaving around branches quickly and quietly. She grabbed the children and ran back downhill.

The witness was hunting atop Badger Mountain south of Richland, Washington, and scanning the valley with binoculars. He spotted a large hairy bipedal creature walking and then running at very high speed. He watched it for 4-5 minutes until it disappeared into a ravine with a creek bed.

As a 12-year-old walking home from the school bus with five other children, the witness noticed movement from a deep ditch beside a gravel road. A hair-covered figure rose from the ditch, crossed the road on two feet, vaulted a pony fence with one hand, and sprinted across an open field much faster than ponies. The figure was estimated at about six feet tall and its face was not seen.

The witness pulled back branches and saw a tall, hair-covered biped running away downhill on two legs. The companion did not see the creature. The witness lost sight of it in pines and underbrush near a swampy area.

The guest's parents were invited by their neighbor to view a hairy human-like body kept frozen in a block of ice in a lumberyard building. They described bristly hair, a caveman-like face with heavy bone, longer arms, and very large feet, with a trickle of bright red blood at the mouth.
