Couple sees 7-8' tall "ape-like creature" in Tuttle Marsh
On a snowy pre-dawn morning, the witness and his wife returned to his ground blind to look for a deer wounded the prior evening. As snow began, they watched a tall, ape-like, fur-covered biped approach and walk past the blind for about ten minutes before they left quickly through deep snow. The witness estimated its height at 7-8 feet by comparing it to tree limbs relative to his own height.

All three froze and stared for about a minute before the creature gave a loud growl ending in a high-pitched scream and walked back into the bushes. Later that day the witness returned with his brother and found a small tree twisted to splinters.

The animal stood still and appeared to watch him back until a branch snap to the left broke his attention, after which the animal disappeared. On a winter night around 11:30 p.m., the witness was traveling home from work near Sidney, Montana when a tall light-haired biped crossed the highway ahead at the end of a coulee guardrail section and continued north without looking toward the witness. The figure was described as well over six feet tall with hair that was darker at the skin than at the tips. The witness was traveling alone, was frightened by the encounter, and did not return the next day to look for tracks in the snow.

The witness was riding as a passenger on a road toward town in the late morning when the driver pointed to the side. The witness then watched a very large, muscular, long-haired creature walk across an open dried creekbed, apparently unaware of the car. The side view was unobstructed but the face was not seen.

A dairy farmer preparing to milk cows in late afternoon saw seven [name withheld] upright figures moving single file across a distant ridgeline. The lead figure paused and faced the witness while the others continued down toward a wooded creek area. When the witness started toward the area, nearby heifers stampeded past him, and he decided not to follow and returned to the house.

The witness was deer hunting in a wooded area in the late afternoon when a tall, hair-covered biped walked across about 30 yards away from right to left. The creature continued down to the witness's elevation, around a hill and down a logging road through a meadow until out of sight over 2-3 minutes. The witness later searched the meadow without relocating it and later found leaf impressions showing a long stride.

The person in the lead came face-to-face at very close range with a tall creature with glowing red eyes. The creature turned and left silently within seconds, and the pair waited before hiking out to their truck.
