Over several nights in December the witness and their partner sat on their home lanai at night and heard a loud cry or scream, rock-clacking sounds, and stones or pebbles striking the house and lanai, and noticed a strange unknown odor for two days. No creature was seen. An investigator later visited the property, found a displaced rock, a single possible footprint, and nearby scat, and noted the property backs onto a power-line corridor.

Shortly after midnight the witness walked past his front door on the way to the bathroom and noticed a tall, hair-covered figure standing at the bottom of his front steps. He estimated it at about 8 feet tall and as wide as his steps, with long arms and no visible neck or facial features. He turned to grab a camera but the figure was gone when he looked back, and he saw nothing when he opened the door and turned on the porch light. Shortly afterward he heard repeated deep rumbling sounds described as like thunder from inside the house.

The witness accelerated into and across a grass field, and as they were leaving the field the creature threw the log toward them but missed. The log was gone when the witness returned the next day.

Around 2 a.m. rocks landed in shallow water near the tent, followed by a voice-like sound, and at dawn the dog stared into the woods while the witness packed to leave. The witness reports never seeing any animal or person.

A group of four campers spent the evening at an equestrian campsite beside the forest. After hearing walking sounds and a faint scream-like sound, they watched nearby treetops shake violently while hearing cracking and rattling branches. The shaking then stopped abruptly leaving the woods silent, frightening the group into dousing the fire and going inside. A next-morning search found no footprints or fallen limbs.

Two people from a paranormal group were in a wooded park at night setting up for an EVP session. They heard knocking sounds, snorting, and sounds they interpreted as a deer being killed very close by. The witness was camping with family when the group heard knocking and branch-breaking sounds for about an hour. He walked about 10 yards from the fire to investigate and saw a small dark shape dash past, then noticed a tall bipedal figure staring at him from about nine feet away for about 10 seconds before it turned and walked away silently. He ran back to the cabin and stayed inside for the night.

He shouted from inside the tent, after which he heard no further movement.

She then saw a small limestone rock rolling nearby, which alarmed her because no natural cause was apparent, and she went inside. The next morning she found sticks, corn stalks and dirt clods in the driveway but nothing explaining the shape.

Two companions playing golf drove up to the 17th green in the afternoon and saw a tan, 6-foot animal leap outward from a high tree branch nearby. The witnesses felt it was too large, heavy, and tailless to be a mountain lion or bear and suggested it could have been a juvenile Sasquatch.
