Two men sat in complete darkness in a forest hotspot talking and playing harmonicas to invite contact while two companions monitored from about 100 yards with a thermal imager. After hearing a stick break and soft knocks, they reported seeing a small red-orange light near the ground that illuminated ferns and silhouetted what looked like a large finger with knuckles moving toward them before fading. They remained on site afterward playing music and talking.

The witness reports catching frogs near a small lake while camping with family and friends when a branch snap was heard. The witness turned and saw two brown hairy figures, one large and one smaller, noting a foul odor and loud screams, with the larger grunting as they left with a long stride. A companion reportedly heard the sounds but did not look.
Native American elder observes a deer being chased
An elder witness watching from his front porch saw a deer running fast across a field with a large grey bipedal creature chasing it. The creature reportedly used its arms and legs in a loping run. Both animals left view, after which the witness heard the deer bleat, then a thump, then silence.
Campers sleeping inside their tent hear clacking and are touched near Bumping Lake
The witness was sleeping in a tent at a lake campground with family when she awoke to repeated patterned clacking sounds from the south. Later she felt contact through the tent fabric, felt the foot of the tent lift and settle, heard movement and more clacking from two directions, and felt unable to move or speak. She awoke again later to distant clacking, and in the morning found no sign except deer tracks with the tent still staked.
Possible activity and odd discoveries found by a Traditional Native American near Port Deposit
The witness and a friend were collecting molted eagle feathers near a swamp around sunset. They heard two very loud splashes close by that sounded like large rocks being thrown into the water. They pushed through overgrown vegetation to investigate and found a fresh path flattened through tall weeds but saw nothing. As they were leaving they heard distant chattering like talking, although they believed no one else was in the woods.

The witness and a companion were hiking back toward their vehicle when they noticed a large deep footprint with toes in clay that they had not seen on the way out. They found several more similar tracks nearby heading downhill toward a creek. While examining the prints they heard a loud noise from a small ridge ahead.
Sasquatch sighting in Oregon (2014)
After hearing heavy metal banging for several nights, the witness ran armed from his fifth-wheel to a 30x40 foot excavation pit. He confronted two 8-9 foot hair-covered beings on the far side and a 4-foot juvenile trapped in the 12-foot hole, while a 10-11 foot individual flanked near his truck. After a scream-roar and standoff where he lowered his aim off the juvenile, the adults retrieved the juvenile and withdrew silently to the treeline. He packed up, later had researchers trespass after his cousin told them, filled the hole, and sold the property.
Movement only in Texas (2014)
The witness and his uncle were coyote hunting from a truck when they saw a large orange ball of light maneuvering in the sky and heard a loud electric-motor hum. A deer stumbled from the woods and collapsed then recovered, multiple jets converged on the light, all sound stopped, flashes appeared and the light vanished. They then heard loud tree snapping approaching the tree line and fled, later seeing a fast blue streak of light while driving away.
Footsteps (2014)
Home alone on New Year's Eve 2014, the witness heard someone walking on the deck, then tapping that moved from the kitchen window to the bedroom window three or four times through the night. Flashlight checks revealed nothing. She noted the kitchen window was too high for her at 5'3" on tiptoes to reach from outside, and frozen ground showed no prints.
Man and his son hunting elk have an encounter with a possible sasquatch near Packwood
The witness and a companion were elk hunting off a forest road when they heard a loud sharp snap uphill interpreted as a large limb or small tree being broken. They scanned the hillside but saw no animal and heard nothing further. They were then struck by a nauseating putrid odor and felt an ominous urge to leave, so they left the area.
Daytime sighting by a wildlife biologist on a trail in the Cypress Creek Preserve
The witness was hiking in a preserve in the morning to photograph wildlife when he heard a noise and saw a large dark figure to his left. He watched it walk upright at a fast, purposeful pace across the trail and into palmettos, then heard it moving away as birds and insects fell silent. He searched for tracks or hair but found none, photographing only the crossing location for scale.
Large biped sighted running in the woods behind a home near Chippewa Lake
The witness was driving on a trail behind her home in the early evening when she noticed movement in the woods to her left. She reported a brief side view of a tall, dark, hairy bipedal animal running awkwardly into the woods and disappearing. She also heard cracking of dead trees and later found a human-like but boxier footprint in sand that was gone when she returned with a relative.

The witness and a companion were on the porch in the evening when they heard a rumble-like vocal that turned into a whoop, followed by the sound of a tree crashing nearby. About ten minutes later they heard a second, louder crash from farther away. They searched with a spotlight, saw nothing, heard rustling in the woods, then went inside.
Possible nighttime encounters at a campground near Pine Flat Resort
The witness and a companion were camping in tents in a largely deserted mountain campground. On two consecutive nights after 11 p.m. the witness heard strange sounds near his tent, including chatter, stone-like banging, cough-like and shushing noises, and a deep guttural grunt from about thirty feet away. On the second night small debris struck the side of his tent as if thrown. The companion confirmed hearing weird noises on the first night.

The guest and his wife heard metallic banging behind the house at night. The guest shone a light and saw bright eyes briefly before retreating. His wife then viewed a figure swaying behind a bush through a thermal monocular and photographed the thermal screen.
Campers on Mount Graham are frightened by late-night visitor
The witness was camping with extended family in multiple tents when awakened after midnight by rhythmic tapping and footsteps moving around the tents. A dog in camp whimpered, and relatives in another tent reported footsteps, heavy breathing, and two individuals apparently communicating before one screamed. The witness and his father exited their tent within seconds and saw nothing. Around 4 a.m. the camp again heard rocks clicking and chattering from dense woods about 50 yards away.
Campers on Mount Graham experience possible intimidation behavior
The witness family was tent-camping at a site on Mt [name withheld]. Between 1 and 4 a.m., after the husband re-entered the tent, the witness and her daughter saw a tall thin figure walk quickly past the tent in the dark and heard slipper-like footsteps on the road. The witness later heard loud chewing and lip-smacking behind the tent and noticed an unfamiliar animal smell. The sounds lasted about 20 minutes and stopped without footsteps after a distant camper door was heard.

On the ninth night of solo primitive camping, the witness was lying awake in a tent when a very loud thud sounded in front of the tent. Movement was then heard in palmettos beside the tent, followed by human-like whistles exchanged from opposite sides and a guttural growl from behind the tent. The witness stayed inside without looking out and found a snapped limb nearby the next morning before leaving camp early.
Tracks near Skamania County (2013)
In April 2013 the guest took his teenage son camping at a just-opened campground off Highway 14 along the Columbia River. During a daytime walk they found an old large track, opened clam shells out of place, a fresh vine-maple twist tucked behind a fir, an 18-inch footprint beneath it, and several pushed or tossed trees. That night in camp they heard branch-breaking, felt the tarps pulled, heard splashing, felt vibration waves, and heard two wood knocks before leaving exhausted in the morning.

Before dawn the witness walked from a parking lot toward the frozen lake to photograph the sunrise. He heard three deliberate wood-on-wood knocks to the north, followed immediately by a bottle-on-metal clattering sound from a closer area to the south. He saw no people or animals, took no photograph, and left the area quickly feeling compelled to leave.
