Brothers hear unusual, late-night vocalizations near Sly Park
The witness reports hearing various vocalizations at night during summer at a family home bordering National Forest in Sly Park, last heard the previous summer, experienced with a brother. The witness, brother, and mother also reported very large human-shaped bare footprints with a long stride in a dirt roadway, with no casts or photos taken. They also reported finding twisted and broken tree limbs nearby and submitted photos of the damage, described as occurring where machine cause was unlikely.

The witness was bow-hunting in coastal second-growth forest on the morning of 9/1/01. He heard whooping and scream-like vocalizations followed by a large tree falling, plus heavy footsteps, and later found large ground impressions, broken limbs and tops, and animal hair high on a tree. An investigator later reviewed photos of broken and twisted trees and received frozen scat and hair samples for examination.

They heard persistent huffing and a growl, experienced silence and a sense of being watched, and reported a dark shape blocking a camper window. Three companions hiked several miles into old-growth forest at the base of Mt. St. Helens in midday snow conditions. They reported finding twisted trees, saplings torn down and woven over a creek, and numerous large bare footprints in snow. The largest print was taped at 21 inches and dwarfed the witness's boot, but attempted photos failed due to snow glare.

Four people in a house heard very loud deep shrieks from beyond the backyard tree line at night. Two of them went onto the patio with a rifle and flashlight; when the light was pointed at the treeline the shrieks stopped and something was heard moving away through the woods while grunting deeply. The next day the witness followed a wide trail of fresh tree damage through the woods for about two hours.

The witness and a companion were at a remote camp in the evening when they heard a loud mule-like wailing scream and then saw a tall hairy creature with a relatively hairless face in a spotlight. The pair heard movement around camp all night and the next day found freshly twisted tree limbs nearby but no usable tracks due to dry ground.

Dogs stared down a trail as a large dark shadow crossed it in one step with heavy thumping footsteps. A partner later measured the crossing height at just over eight feet and found freshly twisted saplings and missing riverside boulders.

A large upright apelike creature about seven to eight feet tall emerged, made whoop sounds and a low growl, snapped off a small tree and slapped the ground while staring with flexed muscles. The witness slowly backed away looking down, the animal followed a short distance then turned, paused near a bushy spot, and walked into the woods. The witness rejoined companions who laughed, and has not returned to the area.

Two teenagers camped on a mountain logging road were harassed by thrown sticks, loud grunting and tree-banging sounds, and a strong foul odor. When they shone a light into the woods about 25 yards away, they saw a very tall fur-covered figure that ducked behind a tree. They put out their fire and fled down the trail, saying the figure followed them most of the way back.

The witness was hunting deer alone in the morning when he entered a brushy opening on a hilltop and noticed a tall black furry human-like figure about 40 feet away with its back turned. The figure was breaking and twisting branches from small trees while moving its upper body. After watching briefly and deciding it was neither a bear nor a human, the witness left the area quickly and ended the hunt.

The witness lived on wooded acreage in the early 1980s and reported ongoing strange activity over several years. He described finding a pole teepee structure and twisted saplings, hearing distant whistle-like sounds and whistling on the hill, seeing red and green eyeshine at night, pursuing unseen footsteps in snow without finding tracks, and having rocks and wood thrown. He stated he never had a clear sighting but concluded an intelligent, elusive presence lived nearby.

A group of youths watching cattle from a hill saw the herd become anxious and flee a corner of the field. They went to the fencerow to investigate and found reddish hair on barbed wire and a small pine twisted and knocked over high up. After hearing movement, two of them saw a face with gray-white eyes and reddish hair about seven feet up near the broken tree and watched it for about two minutes before fleeing.

In a played video the watchman relays a couple kayakers report of pebbles and rocks being thrown from trees into water while they watched stars. He says he later found a fresh snapped and twisted small spruce behind the campsite. He interprets both as primate traits.
Tracks near Sackett's Harbor, New York
On a 2012 visit the guest learned his nephew had recent odd activity at the same farm property. A dressed deer was lifted off a hook and carried away, dog food disappeared, juvenile-like tracks were found by a pond, a small cedar was twisted between two yard trees, dogs barked at the woods at night, and the nephew's girlfriend felt watched.

About four years before the show the caller walked a mile past a gate down into tall timber toward a creek. About two hundred yards in he noticed twisted and broken trees, stopped, and felt intense unease with hair rising. Other campers later reported tree breaks in the same area.

Then something wailed on the dog box. In the morning he found a twisted tree, shredded sapling and tracks and made a cast. With a flashlight he saw something large and black moving up the hill.
