The witness went archery hunting on personal property before daylight and found a small tree near the shooting lane pushed over. After climbing into the tree stand and turning off a headlamp, the witness heard loud knocks like a stick hitting a tree from about 100 yards away in the woods, first four knocks then later two knocks. No figure was seen.

The two investigated together and reported finding trees snapped off high above the ground and deep elongated impressions in dry ground, which they followed for two miles into dense foliage. The witness adds that he was stalked himself the next day.

The witness and a companion were fishing in the evening when they heard loud breathing and grunting sounds approaching from across the river. Animals and birds were seen moving away from the sounds while branches were seen and heard breaking nearby, followed by a loud splash. Believing the source was upset by their presence, they left the area and the witness reports not returning to fish there.

The group saw strange moving lights, felt a sudden whirlwind, then heard growling and tree-breaking and footsteps in the creek as they fled. After sunrise the surrounding wildlife fell silent, several rocks were thrown toward the stand from behind, followed by loud footsteps, branch breaking, heavy breathing and a musky odor approaching to within a few yards behind the witness. After remaining behind the witness for several minutes and emitting a snarling growl, the unseen presence retreated uphill, after which wildlife sounds resumed and the witness left the area.

Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.

While camping with fraternity companions near a river at night, the witness and two companions went to gather firewood near a brush-covered hill. They heard something large moving through dense brush toward them, breaking branches, with heavy bipedal-sounding steps and a musty stagnant-water odor. After retreating to the campfire and later returning with additional group members, the group heard rapid heavy steps approaching and fled in a vehicle, without ever seeing the source.

Something across the river crashed through brush like a heavy animal, then yelled, screamed, broke branches and pushed things over. The group fled in a vehicle, realized they left the youngest sister, drove back and found her running up the road screaming.

The witness and a friend went dove hunting at dawn at a pond in open pasture. After a shotgun shot a very loud scream came from the woods accompanied by crashing wood sounds that moved toward them. The witness raised the gun, the noise stopped at the treeline, and they watched a large dark bipedal shape move along inside the trees as they walked back.

One figure was seen behind a truck and one coworker was startled by movement in brush, with no one seriously hurt.

He confronted it with a .22 rifle, and after it growled and roared he shot it in the throat, then in the hand, then multiple times in the chest as it screamed, broke saplings, and ran straight through a barbed-wire fence across a hay meadow. Later that day his father found broken trees, blood and hair on the sycamore, and blood and hair on the broken fence wires.

On a calm windless June day with her back to the forest, the witness heard a loud crack and saw a full-sized large tree swaying a foot side to side from top to bottom. Her husband was distant. She crept over but dense debris blocked any view of a cause.
