After hearing an unexplained sharp noise from the hilltop, the witness waited and then heard two distinct clacks described as rocks struck together. The witness and his sister were waiting at a rarely used roadside bus stop before sunrise when they smelled a foul odor and heard low grunting that grew louder and more aggressive. A large dark-brown figure then knocked over a small dead tree across the road and ran toward them. Two hunters parked before sunrise in fog to hunt heard whooping and tongue-clicking calls from the treeline and heard the caller circle them in the woods. A thud was heard and felt on the road and a boulder that had not been there when they drove in was found in the road. They later heard a very large animal moving away breaking branches, found no sign after sunrise, and left to hunt elsewhere.

While deer hunting in the morning, the witness and his partner were stationed a few hundred yards apart with thick cover between them. Both men heard loud whoop-like and howl-like vocalizations along with heavy bipedal-sounding footsteps and branches breaking from the cover between them. On a Friday night during an archery-hunt camping trip, the witness and a relative sat by the campfire while two unseen presences circled the camp, breaking branches, pacing, and making heavy footsteps. Small rocks and sticks were then thrown into camp, including a softball-sized rock that landed nearby, followed by impacts on a food box and the trailer. Others sheltering in the trailer also heard footsteps, breaking branches, impacts, and a heavy sigh, and later a branch-like object was dragged across the trailer roof.

The witness saw a tall outline about 15 to 20 feet away leaning with one arm against a tree and staring, then it turned and walked toward the road while the witness ran. Companions did not see the figure, and the next day the witness found fresh paths and broken and uprooted trees in the area.

The witness walked alone around Oxbow Lake to watch birds and noticed complete silence of wildlife and a strong musky odor. A live tree fell nearby despite no wind, and the witness felt watched. While returning toward the car, the witness heard several loud howls from across the lake and then left.

The witness was walking on a dirt road in the evening when a gray-brown figure was seen standing between bushes at a distance. After the witness spoke, the figure made a loud grunt, then turned toward a second grunt heard deeper in the forest and walked away. The witness ran back to a relative, and a next-day visit found a broken branch and flattened vegetation but no footprints.

The witness was hiking on a trail and noticed a tall structure made of bent and broken trees that he thought might be related to Sasquatch activity. He recorded video of the structure. While heading back, a relative showed him a large possible footprint in sand, which he also recorded.

Two companions hiking in Apalachicola National Forest stopped at a shallow brook to cool off. After leaving the water they heard rocks colliding and sticks breaking and went to investigate. They glimpsed an ape-like biped charging away through thick brush, breaking limbs and leaving a foul odor. Afterwards they noted disturbed rocks and a partial heel print that later dried out and was not photographed.

The witness reports seeing a tall hair-covered figure passing the living room picture window about once a year over several years while watching television late at night. The figure is described as walking upright past the window in one direction and sometimes returning minutes later. The witness was canoeing alone on the river in the afternoon and had to pull out to drag the canoe around a log jam. He smelled a terrible odor and was paced by something unseen that stopped when he stopped, then heard screaming, breaking limbs, and saw a large log thrown and trees violently shaking. He fled in the canoe to the center of the river.
Tree break in California (2008)
During 2008 visits to the creek area, the witness and a companion found snapped trees in a circle, bent culverts, and a fetus-like object in water that was later discarded. Climbing to a level vegetated spot, they found a deer carcass with snapped bones and large tracks around it, described as a lair.

On the first night in a long-empty cabin the witness heard hours of loud cracking and later found large bark strips lined up on the ground. The next afternoon he and his son smelled a strong odor and found a large scat pile by the cabin steps. The following evening all three heard a long powerful scream nearby and searched with a flashlight without finding the source.
