The witness and his wife arrived at a vacation cabin in light drizzle and began unloading their vehicle. After a nearby dam-release siren sounded, the witness heard a deep growl that changed into a howl, then a high-pitched scream, then prolonged wooing sounds lasting about two minutes. His wife came outside during the wooing portion and also heard it.

A group of four campers spent the evening at an equestrian campsite beside the forest. After hearing walking sounds and a faint scream-like sound, they watched nearby treetops shake violently while hearing cracking and rattling branches. The shaking then stopped abruptly leaving the woods silent, frightening the group into dousing the fire and going inside. A next-morning search found no footprints or fallen limbs.

The witness adds that he was stalked himself the next day.

The guest was deer hunting from a power line easement and was walking back to the truck in late afternoon when a baseball-sized rock hit his chest and a creature screamed and ran toward him. He dropped his rifle, reached the truck, and when the creature came over the truck bed within feet while screaming, he shot it with a pistol above the left eye. The creature screamed and fled through the woods, and as he drove away a soccer-ball-sized rock struck his truck.

A creature screamed and ran toward him, then appeared at his truck and climbed onto the bed. He shot it with a .22 Magnum above the eye, it fled screaming, and a large rock later struck his truck on a bridge as he drove out.

Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.

As children the witness and his older brother were playing near an old cabin on their grandfather's property overlooking the river. The brother pointed out a large hair-covered figure standing by the water about 100 yards away. When the witness shouted, the figure turned, screamed loudly, and ran quickly along the tree line and disappeared. A neighbor rushed the boys inside, and the grandfather spoke with the neighbor in another language and kept the boys from returning to the river, saying the beings were passing through.

Something across the river crashed through brush like a heavy animal, then yelled, screamed, broke branches and pushed things over. The guest and his wife were staying at a leased cabin near Octavia and walking by a lake around sunset when they heard loud screaming or hollering from the river bottoms about a half-mile to a mile away. He recorded the sounds on a small Kodak camera, turning it on and off several times. Locals later told him there were no elk or moose in the area, only black bear and mountain lions.

While outside the pickup the witness heard brushing sounds and smelled a skunk-like odor, then got back inside. The back of the truck was then bumped hard enough to feel like a low-speed rear-ending, and a tall silhouette was seen in the taillights while a yell/scream was heard, prompting the witness to drive away.
