While working in a national forest around noon in August 2011, the witness heard high-pitched yelps or screams from one direction answered by very low guttural whoops from another direction. The two sets of sounds were described as about a mile apart and about a half mile away, repeating in a call-and-response pattern that sounded like communication. The witness, who described experience with wolves and other wildlife, stated the sounds were not wolves and searched nearby roads by truck without seeing the source.

The witness was leading an overnight camping trip and sitting around a campfire with customers around 11 pm. Just after finishing a story about a previous loud scream heard at the same location, the group heard a loud howl or scream nearby. The customers suspected a prank, but the witness became convinced the sound was a Bigfoot and later asked not to be sent on further trips.

The witness camped alone on the east side of a small lake after hiking in about three miles. Around 1 a.m. while stoking his campfire he heard loud wood knocks approaching from the hill and loud vocalizations from the opposite shore about 100 yards away. The source also threw sticks toward his camp. After he fired a rifle shot into the air the sounds stopped, and he remained at camp until the next afternoon before hiking out.

Late at night the witness and a relative went outside to check a heavy thud behind the house. They saw a deer run past, then a very tall hair-covered human-like figure approach from the woods. After a shotgun shot was fired toward the treeline, the figure veered closer, stopped nearby, then moved along the treeline into the woods where it remained visible for several minutes. A strong odor was noticed and large footprints were found the next day.

A few days before a tree-treatment job, the witness drove to a turnaround at the end of a logging road to wait for a contact. He heard a loud snap, heavy running footsteps, tree movement, knocks, three whoops, pebble impacts on the truck, a loud yell and a throaty shriek, and glimpsed a dark figure. He left and met his contact at the paved road.

Around 3 a.m. the witness went outside to smoke after being unable to sleep and heard distant, powerful howls/screams lasting about ten minutes that faded as if the source was moving. The sound was very clear in the quiet night and was estimated at half a mile to a mile away. The witness was deer hunting in a valley at dawn when a loud scream was heard nearby. The yell was loud enough to startle turkeys roosting overhead. Looking toward the sound, the witness saw a tall black animal about 70 yards away that then disappeared.

The witness and his son were deer hunting from a blind in darkness before dawn. After the son woke the sleeping witness, they heard something large moving fast through brush behind the blind. It screamed, stomped hard enough to shake the ground, snapped limbs, and grunted and growled before leaving quickly. The pair then left the area immediately.

The son ran ahead, collapsed and became unresponsive while the witness felt nausea, loss of focus, and a deep vibrational sound. The witness then saw a large dark hairy figure, fired shots to drive it off, heard it scream and get answered, and evacuated the son for medical care.

The witness and a companion were sitting outside the companion's house at night when they heard a scream from a nearby swamp. Shortly after they heard a large animal breaking branches in woods on their side of the road. After owls called behind the house, an unseen object coming from the woods landed in the yard behind them.

Early one fall morning the witness opened a door to let dogs out and saw a large hairy biped near the well head a short distance away. The creature turned to face the witness and emitted a loud scream that caused intense fear and crying. The witness and three companions were camping and sitting around a fire at night when the woods went quiet and they heard a tree being pushed over. They found a pine half pushed over, then heard a scream and loud growl. The witness shone a spotlight, first seeing the legs and then the full height of a tall hair-covered bipedal creature about 20-30 yards away. After watching it for several seconds as it walked away, the group left the campsite.

Two campers hiking a logging road at dusk saw a dark, wide standing figure beside a small pine about 30 yards away, swaying side to side. They retreated to their camp in a valley. Later that night from the direction of the road they heard five or six loud screech-like vocalizations over about ten minutes.

On his last night of work in 2010, the guest parked at his rented room on his boss's wooded property around 1 a.m. Birds erupted, then a loud rising howl-scream vibrated his car and silenced frogs and birds. He then heard movement and large rocks clashing in a ravine before running to the house and telling his boss he thought a Sasquatch was in the backyard.

The witness and a companion were in a boat heading toward shore at night when they heard splashes, smelled a foul wet-animal odor, and saw shoreline vegetation shaking violently. A large rock was thrown from shore toward them and landed near the boat. When they shone a flashlight toward shore they saw a large dark human-shaped figure with red glowing eyes partly obscured by vegetation, then yelled and banged oars before retreating to a safer distance and hearing a loud scream or roar as they loaded the boat and left.
