Possible daylight sighting by bush pilot flying low over remote forest area outside Bissett
The witness was flying as a front-seat passenger in a small bush plane over an isolated highway. He noticed a dark, upright figure emerge from the south, walk straight across the highway and ditch, and disappear into the bush, watching it for about 30 seconds. He did not point it out to the pilot until afterward and saw no parked or moving vehicles nearby.

The witness was driving north on Highway 6 in central Manitoba on a clear late morning. About 200 meters ahead, a black bipedal animal ran across the road from east to west into thick bush in only a few strides, swinging its arms. The witness noted a dead deer on the road not far from where the animal crossed.

The witness was hauling bales by tractor toward a relative's farmyard in the late afternoon when a tall dark figure was seen walking and crossing the road ahead. The figure was initially mistaken for a relative, but the actual relative was then seen at the house. The witness and the relative searched the area shortly afterward and found no one, with the nearest heavy cover described as a quarter-mile away.

The witness was driving on a highway with a relative as passenger in the morning when a black, fur-covered biped emerged from roadside brush. The figure crossed the highway to the opposite side with a distinctive marching stride and swinging arms, then went into thick brush. The witness braked but did not get out to search.

The witness rode as a passenger at night while the father drove north to visit family. A large upright creature propelled itself out of a ditch and crossed the two-lane highway in two strides. It paused briefly on the far side, stared at the vehicle, then disappeared into the dark ditch.

The witness was driving north in daylight when a tall, hairy biped rose from the roadside ditch. It crossed the highway from east to west behind a truck ahead, moving very quickly without looking toward the witness, and continued into spruce forest. The witness continued to the next junction and called home to report what was seen.

The witness was driving north on a paved highway in the early evening when a figure rose from the dry grass in the roadside ditch. The figure crossed the road about 100 yards ahead without looking to either side, moving quickly with long steps, then entered brush and disappeared. The witness continued to the first available telephone and called home to report what had been seen.
