Structure or nest (1999)
A solo hunter hiked about six miles up a creek to the base of a mountain and noticed the woods had gone completely still and silent. He pushed through brush into a hard-packed oblong clearing strewn with hundreds of animal bones and found a camouflaged jacket still wrapped around human skeletal remains with the face crushed inward. He reported the find to local authorities with a business card found in a pocket and says he gave up deep-woods hunting and sold his rifles.
Report of a field investigation over several days
Three researchers camped in a remote timbered drainage in early August 1998 to study suspected sasquatch activity. Over two afternoons they heard loud primate-like calls and screams around camp, and during two nights they heard conversational vocalizations, rhythmic rock-clicking, and stealthy footfalls that alarmed horses. They also detected red eyeshine and later found a fresh animal bed overlooking the camp. They left early, concluding no conclusive evidence was obtained but the area warranted further investigation.

Two people backpacking found several large fresh bipedal footprints on a steep forest slope. One track was measured at 16 inches long, with a stride over four feet that was difficult to replicate on the slope. Odor near Marysville, Washington (1997)
The guest and three companions visited the quarry caretaker and walked toward the quarry pond. After smelling a musky odor and finding a large nesting area, they saw a female creature sitting by a berry bush that stood and quickly left into the woods. They tracked snapping sounds and heavy breathing with amplified equipment for over an hour until the sounds stopped near a clear-cut.

A young couple entered an abandoned mine and came upon a large hairy humanoid sitting very close with a strong decay odor. They fled quickly and contacted a group. Investigators returning two days later found a constructed oval bed and signs it had been eating foliage gathered from miles away.

Three people hunting in the early morning reached a frost-covered hilltop clearing. They found a shredded shrub with branches piled like bedding, numerous freshly dug holes, and a stump holding freshly picked plants, all without frost. The witness recalls odd activity while the family lived on the property in the mid-1990s and around 2001. Back doors were found open, wood knocks were heard, stick structures were seen, and something was heard walking beyond the treeline. No creature was clearly seen during this period.

The guest and a friend were turkey hunting in Indiana and followed feathers uphill. Both felt watched and found trees laid down to form a funnel that felt like an ambush. They then heard a faint child-like cry twice from the direction they were being led and left quickly.
Howl near Mount Laguna, California (1994)
The witness and his wife spent a weekend camping in 1994 at Laguna Mountain where the campground was empty. At night they heard wolf-like howls and the next day on a desert trail they found crossed dead trees, heard loud animal cries, and watched a distant reddish hair-covered figure standing and slamming backward into a tree, which they first took for a bear. A ranger insisted there were no wolves or bears in the area. On the second night rustling around the tent and sudden overwhelming fear caused them to abandon camp and drive home in the early morning.

While deer hunting, the witness found a large hut-like structure of limbs and brush with a dug-out dirt floor that was dry inside. The witness returned the next day with two companions and a camera to photograph the structure. They then found large footprints on a nearby game trail, felt watched, and left the area.
Man sees unusual stacked rocks in Yosemite
The witness was running alone across a remote talus slope in Yosemite National Park. He found pits where large angular granite blocks had been lifted out and stacked in neat piles several feet high. He examined the feature only briefly and saw no animal, but thought of Sasquatch rock-stacking accounts he had read as a child.
Family retells documenting a possible mile-long line of tracks north of Yankeetown
The witness's family discovered a long trail of large footprints on their hunting property on a winter weekend in 1991. They followed the trail for over a mile past creeks and cabins and through a barbed-wire fence, making plaster casts of a right and left print. During a deer-hunting drive in foggy woods, the witness and his father found large bipedal tracks over their tire marks and concluded a bear could not have made them. As they circled back, an unseen animal tracked them, producing a strong foul odor and a high-pitched squeal before thrashing off toward the mother waiting at the truck. They later found uprooted small trees, additional tracks in camp, hair on fencing, and a woody debris structure, and heard screaming and a howl that prompted a relative to leave camp.

Two people hiking a mountain trail in the morning reported seeing the back of a large black animal. They estimated its height from where its back had touched a tree branch. They also reported a wet-dog-like odor, a trail made by the animal, and a bed of leaves under cedar trees.
Sasquatch sighting near Conejos County (1984)
The witness was scouting high-elevation timber for a later elk hunt when he noticed tree breaks, pushovers and tracks. From boulders he glassed about eight hairy bipeds with young, watching them for about half an hour as some appeared to hide at a choke point while others circled. He concluded they were hunting deer and left with his companion before dark.
Hunters experience possible vocals, find nests, get screamed at over three-day hunting weekend north of Reydon
Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.
Backpackers find long, oval shaped nests, three miles from camp
During a 1983 backpacking trip in wooded hills in Arkansas, the witness and friends found three oval rock-and-leaf structures described as nests, with bark-stripped branches beside two of them, plus a very large scat pile and a pine tree with bark stripped in long strips. They remained in the area two more days hearing unidentified spooky noises but reported seeing no animal.
Rock throwing near Yamhill County (1982)
While staying at a farm, two children had a rock tossed at them in a clearing and were herded home by dogs. Over following months they heard screams and knocks, found a large footprint with ridges, a distressed horse, and disturbed hay resembling a nest in the barn loft. In mid-winter the witness saw a curious dark-haired face looking in a basement window, and in spring the father returned from a short walk to grab firearms and forbid solo trips into the woods.

The witness accompanied an older relative to watch fly fishing along a river. The relative pointed out stacked rock piles and later led the witness to a spot among trees described as a den, containing packed branches, reddish-brown hair tufts, feathers, and a strong decay-like odor. No creature was seen during the visit, and the identification as a den reflected the relative's interpretation.
