A couple staying overnight in a yurt woke around 2 a.m. to loud howls coming from the east across the river lasting several minutes. About half an hour later they heard louder, closer hollering vocalizations from the woods to the west. They stated the sounds were unfamiliar and unlike a bear, coyote, or bobcat.

Three people camped on an island area at Keystone Lake and heard repeated grunting and howl-like vocalizations after midnight. After two people kayaked back to the cars and two returned, the two in kayaks had two very large rocks land in the water near them as they approached shore in darkness. One had earlier seen green eyeshine near the campsite on the first return. Finding no other people on the island, they packed up and left during the night.

Late at night the witness and a friend stood in a rural road with dogs while waiting. They both saw a figure standing erect behind a large tree by a melon patch about 50-60 yards away. A deep, resonating growl came from the field that frightened them and the dogs, and they fled. They later heard whistles and howls from the woods for hours before falling asleep near dawn.

The witness was alone at home near Hodgen, Oklahoma at dusk in clear weather when they heard a howling sound. The witness reported no visual of the source and described the sounds as incredible and unlike anything heard since. The witness compared the howl to an alleged bigfoot howl heard on television.
