Three people were fishing quietly from a boat near shore at dusk when they heard a loud scream from the treeline past a point. They then heard branches breaking and heavy bipedal-sounding footsteps moving up a steep bank, followed by a second similar scream. They saw nothing and left quickly for the boat ramp.

Two companions were camping in remote steep woods while digging ginseng when they were awakened late at night by loud howls, screams, growls and chattering. Something shook trees and threw large rocks and small sapling trees into their camp for hours, retreating when the fire was built up and returning as it died down. Two skateboarders riding ahead of their group heard a high scream then close low grunts off a paved bike trail. One crouched to look and saw a very hairy black bipedal animal crouched about 10 yards away that they had run past. The animal stood to about 6 to 7 feet tall, then ran upright into thick brush swinging its arms, moving very fast and loudly through deadfall before going silent. The pair fled to their companions and a later search of the dead brush found no tracks or sign.

The witness drove to rented pasture to check fences where cattle had been getting out. He found a large tree knocked through the fence with strange hair on the wire, moved the tree and repaired the fence, then found very large fresh footprints in mud near a creek. He heard a grunt near the repair site and later a high-pitched scream from the same direction, found items tossed from his truck bed, then left and did not return.

On a solo elk hunt in the same area the witness hiked through stripped timber and a bone scatter to a bowl holding many bedded deer. While returning near sunset he was followed by something matching his steps that he could not see, then heard growls from behind and across the creek. He kept a fire lit while packing and left camp, later reconsidering cougars as the source after hearing similar growls described as Sasquatch-related.

They returned the next day and found odd-looking footprints.

About 20 feet away he saw a hair-covered creature sitting asleep against an oak tree with its hands locked across its knees. The witness states she had just put her crying infant back to bed and was sitting on the side of her waterbed in a dark mobile home when she felt watched and heard a loud guttural grunt/growl. She froze in fear and was unable to speak for some time before the head disappeared. The next day she and her companion found nothing to stand on beneath the window and no tracks due to leaf cover.
