The witness and two companions stopped late at night at a dead end by a wooded creek. After all feeling watched and making monkey-like noises, they heard a close, very loud growl followed by a high-to-low scream-roar they felt in their chests. They scrambled to get into the truck and drove away quickly without seeing the source.
