The witness was deer hunting alone from a ground blind in a remote swamp after dark. While packing up noisily, the witness heard a heavy animal running through the woods, passing about 20 yards away. The footfalls sounded rhythmic like a person running, unlike a deer. The witness never saw anything because of darkness and dense woods.

The witness and a companion were camping overnight by a creek in a swampy forest around midnight. They heard footsteps approaching along the creek to within about 30 yards, followed by loud screaming/howl-like vocalizations and sounds of a tree being torn up. The companion stepped a short distance into the woods to speak toward the sounds while the witness stayed by the fire with a shotgun without firing. After a few minutes the sounds and movement stopped and the source left without being seen.

The witness returned from fetching snacks to a foul odor and a feeling of being watched. The witness saw something crouched in a tree with a leg hanging and later a head watching from behind a shooting target, then heard the loud bark-like vocalization. The group fled and later found fire, shredded supplies, flattened vegetation and hair.

After smelling a rancid odor all day and seeing glimpses, at night in candlelight one witness came face to face at five to six feet with a 7-8 foot tall hairy creature that made a loud robotic ARK bark. They all fled up a hill while it chased and vocalized, later finding the ramp burned from a knocked candle and snacks shredded.

The witness was alone waiting for the school bus before dawn at the edge of woods. He heard heavy footsteps in dry leaves that appeared to pace him as he moved along the road. In pitch darkness he heard an extremely loud, high-pitched scream from about 20 to 30 feet directly ahead, followed by loud crashing as the unseen source moved rapidly downhill toward a lake. He fled home at full speed and never saw what made the sounds.
