Two companions were driving back toward their campsite late at night after dropping others off. They noticed a broad figure squatting in a ditch beside a guardrail that turned its head to watch their vehicle pass. They turned around to look again but it was gone, and a visit the next day found only flattened grass.
Kayakers describe rock throwing near island on Keystone Lake
Three people camped on an island area at Keystone Lake and heard repeated grunting and howl-like vocalizations after midnight. After two people kayaked back to the cars and two returned, the two in kayaks had two very large rocks land in the water near them as they approached shore in darkness. One had earlier seen green eyeshine near the campsite on the first return. Finding no other people on the island, they packed up and left during the night.

The couple was outside their house late at night calling for their pet cat when loud hoot-like calls started nearby and multiplied into many very loud varied screams and laughing-like sounds that built to a crescendo then stopped abruptly. After a period of silence with rustling and a loud snap, they got into their car to leave. While driving away they saw a large dark upright figure with glowing yellowish-orange eyes near the road and noticed a strong musk odor.

The witness was driving home with three siblings after visiting a relative. They noticed a tall fur-covered figure walking along the roadside ahead. As they slowed and came close, the figure turned to look at them briefly before walking into the woods, after which they drove away.

The witness and relatives were spotlighting for coyotes from a pickup truck at night along a treeline. The light revealed eyeshine and a tall brown-haired biped with white patches on its chest and arm that remained in place for about five minutes. The animal then stepped over a fence into the woods and disappeared.

Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.

Shortly after the family moved into a new house, the young witness woke in bed and saw two red glowing eyes and a dark outline bent over to look through a tall bedroom window. The moonlight made the figure appear blacker than the surroundings. Frightened, the witness ran to the parents' bedroom.

Game cameras captured possible high eyeshine and a night video where the background distorted as an unseen shape moved toward a tree stand.

As a teenager the guest was walking his dog on a day-use-only road with a weak flashlight. The dog became erratic, and the light revealed red eyes about 20 yards away on an incline. The tall figure backed up and walked away, and the witness and dog left for home.

The guest sat on the porch at night with two family members and watched four sets of red eyes in the northern tree line for about two hours.
