Possible late evening incidents at a mountain home near Little Switzerland
The witness stayed two nights at a friend's house on a wooded mountain development. On the first night outside the house he reported paired knocking sounds, stones hitting the roof, and a brief glimpse of gray movement. The next day he found two partial human-like footprints in a steep bank near a trail. On the second night he heard more knocks and howling, then was awakened by loud pounding on the roof and walls that the host also heard.
Rural residents disturbed by nighttime activity near Buffalo Creek
Throughout spring 2004 the witness and several neighbors repeatedly heard what sounded like a bipedal creature walking through woods at night, often while area dogs barked intensely. Plants outside the witness's window were found repeatedly flattened and scratching was heard on a neighbor's house. In May the witness heard a loud distant scream described as a classic Bigfoot scream. The disturbances stopped abruptly in July.

The guest said his younger brother reported that last week while he and his girlfriend slept in the guest's old room, something loudly banged on the roof of the garage beside the house.

A few years later the guest was playing inside near dusk while the father was dressing a deer outside. A shadow paced past the front window, then the creature screamed and pounded the house until its arm broke through the glass. The father ran out with a shotgun, argued and exchanged cries with it for nearly half an hour, then fired. The father later had the grandfather bring a truck, removed the body, and years later said he shot it in the face three times.

The guest described being a young child playing on the living room floor in the evening while both parents were in the same room. A hairy creature came to the window, slammed its hands on either side, and pressed its face to the glass. The father seized a muzzleloader and went outside, where he and the creature exchanged loud roars for about twenty minutes before it left.
