Two witnesses driving across railroad tracks in the afternoon saw a very tall, dark, lanky being emerge from trees to cross the tracks. It paused on the tracks and stared toward them before continuing toward trees on the other side. When they turned around to look again, it was gone.
Possible sasquatch observed by cabin renter at 100 yards outside Gatlingburg
The witness and two companions were relaxing in an outdoor hot tub at a vacation cabin near Gatlinburg when the woods went silent and tree movement was heard. The witness noticed a motionless black shape resembling a gorilla's head and shoulders in sunlit brush about 100 yards away and watched it for several minutes. After briefly looking away at the cabin wall, he found the shape gone, and shortly after heard trees cracking. He watched for about ten more minutes without seeing anything further.

The witness was driving past a cultivated field in the afternoon when they noticed two dark hair-covered figures. One very large figure stood facing the road while a smaller one ran from a fence row toward a stand of trees. The witness turned around to get a photo, but both figures were gone when they drove back.

The witness was hiking with an expedition group near an old building and went behind it to look for sign. About 50 yards away the witness saw a dark shape that resolved into a face with heavy brow, broad nose, dark hair and dark eyes that turned to the side and back before disappearing. Afterward the witness heard whistles and a low guttural sound, felt unwelcome and unwell, waited, then later sketched what was seen.

Late at night the witness was gaming at home when she heard a deep growl that grew louder and shifted into a loud distressed bellowing outside her office window. She looked toward the window and saw a pair of yellow-green luminous eyes watching her for a few seconds before they turned and moved away. She initially thought the eyes might be human but concluded they were not, and the next day found no tracks beneath the window.

A couple driving home at night turned onto their rural street and saw a dark-haired ape-like animal in the headlights a few feet ahead. The animal avoided the lights and bounded quickly on its forelimbs in a gorilla-like manner across a neighbor's lawn before disappearing. Both adults observed the movement, though only the husband saw its fingered hands picking at the ground.

The witness was driving home on a highway with two passengers in the afternoon. He glanced toward woods near a river and saw a tall figure covered in dark fur from the side as it took several strides toward the river. The two companions were not looking that way and did not see it. He estimated it was about 7-8 feet tall with noticeably long arms, about 30 yards from the road, and said it was not a human.

The witness was walking through a field with family members near the base of Black Mountain. He reported seeing a large black creature move into the treeline at the end of the field. He described it as walking on two legs with a human- or ape-like backside and bipedal movement.

Around 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 25, 2017, the witness and a companion were driving in a loud diesel truck toward a deer blind. They heard several very loud wooo sounds from woods estimated at 200 to 250 yards away, audible over the engine. They stopped briefly to listen, then drove on and shined lights into the woods without seeing or hearing anything further.

A couple hiking with their dogs in a state park heard a single knock-like sound and later a distant tree-fall sound. Off a creek-side trail they found a single large bare footprint that was larger than the reporter's shoe and did not replicate under his weight. The dogs acted fearful and the couple ended the hike early.

The witness drove down a dirt road to retrieve belongings from an ex-partner's house in a deep valley. A large brown-furred biped squatting by the road stood up, looked at the car, and cleared a steep hill in two steps. After the witness struck a tree with a stick, they twice heard very loud vocalizations estimated to be about fifty yards away. After returning to the car they then heard very loud knocking sounds before driving off. The report states this was not a visual incident.

The witness reports hearing repeated knocking sounds at night over multiple seasons from spring 2013 through spring 2014. The knocks reportedly occurred in the evening, about a minute apart, lasting 30 minutes to a couple hours, with nothing seen. An investigator later visited and noted tree breaks and structures nearby but found no tracks.

On New Year's Eve at his former partner's parents' rural property, the witness went outside with his dog to smoke. The dog grew agitated as a tiny green speck in the distance grew into a pulsating sheet-like light moving slowly toward them about ten feet off the ground. He went upstairs to get help, found everyone long asleep, and realized hours had passed though he felt only briefly outside.

Early in the morning while heading to fish along a creek, the witness saw a large bipedal creature standing in the water about 15 to 20 yards away. The creature left the creek, struck a tree with its hand, stomped its foot and vocalized, then ran into the forest. The witness watched for about 45 seconds and also noted a musky animal-like odor.
