The witness was outside a remote cottage watching a total lunar eclipse late at night when two extremely loud scream-like howls were heard at very close range. The sound was described as starting as a wolf-like howl and shifting to an immense roar, with apparent rapid movement from about 100 yards away to about 25 yards within seconds. No animal was seen, and the volume suggested a large animal to the witness.

A group of about 15 people discovered two sets of large footprints in an open sandy area among pine trees and followed them for roughly 800 to 1,000 feet without seeing the animals. A witness later gave measurements of about 15 by 5 inches for the larger prints and 10 by 4 inches for the smaller. The group also reported finding fine light-brown hair on a tree and taking photos of the prints, though the photos were not available for the report.

The witness was hiking alone along a creek on a relative's wooded property during the day. At a bend in the trail they found a single very large human-like footprint in mud at the water's edge, with disturbed sand in the creek and a wet mark on a rock opposite. They reported seeing, hearing, and smelling nothing else, measured the print against a rifle barrel, and described it as not a bear track but possibly Sasquatch while noting they never saw the maker.

The witness was on a camp roof at night making moose calls to prepare for hunting season. After hearing distant cracking and movement in shoreline water, a loud unfamiliar scream sounded two or three times nearby. The frightened witness went inside the camp for the night and found nothing unusual the next day.
