A saltwater hauler working after midnight at an oil-field tank site reported seeing glowing red eyes above a 9-10 foot fence during an unusually quiet period with a skunk-like odor and a low growl. The figure moved out of view and then threw about five tennis-ball-sized rocks toward the storage tanks, with two striking the nearest tank. The witness felt intimidated and left the site, returning the following night to look for the rocks.

During an afternoon walk on a game trail a few hundred yards from camp, the witness encountered a large hairy biped and stared at it briefly before it walked away. Two companions were night fishing at a reservoir when they heard tree knocks and unfamiliar calls that seemed to get closer. They decided to leave and found one of two large catfish missing from the back of the truck, then the companion was struck in the chest by a small thrown rock. Frightened, they packed up and left quickly.

A family camped at Salmon Meadows near Conconully heard repeated strange howl-like yells from the creek bed below their site in the late afternoon. After going to investigate and finding a young cow near a cattle guard, they heard howls again overnight and in the early morning. They recorded five video clips as the sounds moved away but never saw the source.

The witness was walking along a creek bed in heavily wooded terrain when they found a very large footprint with five distinct toes. After photographing it with makeshift scale items, they heard movement and a large branch being twisted on the hillside and left the woods. An investigator later visited the site with the witness and summarized the track as a 17-inch-long left-foot impression.
Family has recurring encounters at home near Forsyth
The witness and her husband were awakened after midnight by strange sounds from their children's bedroom heard through a baby monitor, including squeaking at the window and a thump against the house wall. After the husband turned on exterior lights, the witness saw a large shadow move quickly away from the house toward nearby woods. Shortly after, both heard a very loud double whoop vocalization twice, which the husband said could not have been an owl.

While working in a national forest around noon in August 2011, the witness heard high-pitched yelps or screams from one direction answered by very low guttural whoops from another direction. The witness, who described experience with wolves and other wildlife, stated the sounds were not wolves and searched nearby roads by truck without seeing the source.

The witness illuminated a large dark figure leaning from behind a tree about 30 feet away. A large rock was then thrown from the woods over the fire between the two people, the witness fired two shots into the air, and the figure was heard moving, breaking a tree, splashing across the creek, and ascending the opposite hillside. The pair left most gear behind, drove home, and returned the next morning to recover equipment and examine the broken tree.

The follower stopped when they stopped and continued for several minutes before stopping. They never saw the source and photographed the track.
Reoccurring activity on a farm near Fife Lake
Around 3:30 a.m. on a warm night in late summer 2011, the witness ran outside with a rifle and flashlight after hearing a chicken squawking. About 100 feet away behind the garage, the witness saw huge orange eyes staring from above a chicken coop and estimated the figure at 6 to 7 feet tall. After briefly looking down to ready the rifle, the figure was gone, and the witness heard something crashing fast through brush to the southwest with heavy breathing. A chicken was found alive but missing rear feathers with a pile of feathers nearby and no digging.

After about 30 minutes an upright figure appeared over 100 yards away behind a fallen tree, showing its upper body for about 45 seconds before slipping behind a large tree out of view. The witness stayed longer, photographed deer, then inspected the spot and estimated size from the fallen tree but found no tracks.

The witness was riding a motorcycle home from night work at about 1 a.m. when making a turn beside a cornfield. A large dark figure was seen standing at the field edge a short distance away. It leaned forward and gave an extremely loud high-pitched scream-like call heard again moments later, and the witness accelerated away without looking back.
