The witness was riding as a passenger north on I-75 the day after Christmas when traffic began moving after a jam. She looked to the right and noticed a large black hairy form about a football field away in a clearing between woods. She watched for 5-7 seconds as it stayed low and crouched and extended a long arm to move slowly toward the woods.

After their boat motor failed, two companions camped overnight by a campfire on the riverbank. Around midnight they heard something approaching through the woods, followed by loud growling, grunting, stomping and tree knocks. One of them shone a light across the narrow river and saw a head, shoulder and red eyes looking back before it retreated, continuing noise for over an hour. They left at first light and were later towed back to the landing.

During a winter duck hunt the witness waded out to retrieve a downed bird and noticed feathers and rhythmic splashes in flooded timber. A very large bipedal creature approached through the trees to within about 30 yards, watched the witness for about 30 seconds, made a low huff, then turned and left quickly through the water. The witness returned to companions and left the area, avoiding hunting for about a week.

The witness was awakened around 3:30 a.m. by dogs barking in an outdoor kennel and went outside with a flashlight to investigate. She noticed movement near fruit trees by the driveway and saw a very tall figure that paused behind a tree before running uphill on two legs with swinging arms. The figure looked pale silvery-gray and shaggy, glanced over its shoulder, then leapt off the road down a steep embankment into brush. Next morning she found matted grass and a hole in the bramble where it left the road, but no clear tracks.

While elk hunting alone on a remote snow-covered mountain slope in the morning, the witness found a line of large barefoot bipedal tracks heading uphill. The prints were substantially larger than the witness's boot and spaced about five feet apart, forcing a leap to step between them. The witness photographed one print with a boot for scale, judged the tracks to be several days old, and believed they were not made by snowshoes, bears, or another hunter due to their shape and the area's remoteness.

The witness was driving with windows down toward a hunting stand in a swampy management area before dawn when he encountered a strong unfamiliar musky odor. After parking and sitting in the stand for about 10-15 minutes, he heard three loud consecutive unfamiliar screams from the direction where he had smelled the odor. The sounds were very loud despite the estimated distance, and the woods stayed quiet afterward with no birds heard at sunrise.

On a November afternoon hunt, the witness heard loud yelling mixed with growls and screams nearby and recorded trees breaking and heavy pounding footsteps approaching. About 160 yards away he saw a pair of large, brilliant emerald-green eyes spaced widely apart. As an experienced outdoorsman he said he had never seen eyes of that shape, brilliance and spacing, and said the sighting combined with an earlier strange vocalization made him open to a Sasquatch-type creature being present.

The witness, familiar with common animal skulls, reports others called it ape-like and is sending a jawbone for DNA analysis. After putting a rifle in the vehicle, the witness heard footsteps and then an extremely loud, deep guttural roar close enough to feel in the chest and fled by vehicle to meet the companions at a local establishment. The companions said they had heard strange noises and felt uneasy all day, and the group left the area that night.

The witness reports standing outside his home in the evening after returning from a store when he heard a very loud scream followed by four loud knocks from the nearby woods. He called to his wife, and four more loud knocks were then heard. He estimated the source was about 100 feet away and said he could hear trees moving.

The witness was driving home from work around 2:30 a.m. when a large dark figure crossed the road about 50 feet ahead, moving very fast on two legs. It crossed in about two strides and disappeared into a farm field as the witness braked and turned toward it. Late at night the witness took a puppy on a leash toward the woodline behind the house and heard shuffling in the brush. A very tall, very wide dark figure stood up nearby, showing a lighter chest or stomach area in the moonlight. The witness screamed and ran inside, after which relatives went out with a light and reported seeing a large two-legged shadow run up the brushy hill and disappear while staying just out of sight.

Early in the morning while heading to fish along a creek, the witness saw a large bipedal creature standing in the water about 15 to 20 yards away. The creature left the creek, struck a tree with its hand, stomped its foot and vocalized, then ran into the forest. The witness watched for about 45 seconds and also noted a musky animal-like odor.
